NBA Live 08 PC version DELAYED! (New Date: 10/30/2007)

Talk about NBA Live 08 here.

I think that they will be porting and taking some time to test the game for PC as to avoid what happened in 07.

I'm pretty sure they can delay the release without some kind of NBA approval. I mean, why would you want to delay it? That would give the competition an edge in sales. Oh wait, there is no competition on the PC version.

they are delaying the pc one because they just dont care too much about it.. i mean look at the effort they put for the pc versions.. its sad.. oh and EA probably started working on the PC version way too late cuz they just dont care... so they are trying to catch up finishing up the PC version.. thats my theory.

I would suggest your theory is incorrect since the Current Gen (or Last Gen, if you prefer) version has been in production for months. As others have suggested, the most likely cause for the delay is the process of porting the game to the PC rather than working on elements of the game itself.

I am now crossing my fingers and hoping the roster cutoff date is at least september. August 1st or whatever they have been doing is way to early.

With an October 2nd release, I'm guessing it will be sometime in August in terms of the players that are included. Perhaps they'll be able to sneak in a couple of significant transactions that occur between the cut off and the time the game goes gold; they seem to have done that in past games at any rate.

As long as they get the rookies is the main thing.

It's going to be a port from the PS2 version.
