dynasty w/new monitor

I switched to a flat screen monitor w/a lower resolution. I now cannot run my dynasty team. I was using 1200x1600 when I started my dynasty, now my new monitor only goes up to 1680x1050. How can I run my old dynasty w/this new monitor??? nba live 07 on windows xp

Load your dynasty. Save your dynasty as a different name to back it up just in case something goes wrong. Quit your dynasty. This way the detail settings for your dynasty are loaded. Go into the "detail settings." Change the resolution to 1280x1024, which is probably the best you will get, because I also have a monitor with the 1680x1050 resolution. Now save your settings.

ALT+TAB out of the game and open Windows Explorer and go to your \My Documents\NBA Live 07\settings\ folder and right click the settings.dat file and select copy, you can also just click once on the file to highlight it and use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+C to copy. Now go to your \My Documents\NBA Live 07\saves\Name of your dynasty\ folder and either right click on the folder and select paste or use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+V to paste. When you are prompted to overwrite the file or not, choose YES to overwrite the file. ALT+TAB back into NBA Live and load the dynasty that you just pasted the settings in. You should be able to play the dynasty again.

thanks but it didn't work. once I'm in dynasty there's no way to change the resolution. if i change it after I quit my dynasty and replace the settings file it still crashes when I load my dynasty game.

Oh, I didn't know it was crashing upon loading your dynasty. I thought you couldn't play it because of the resolution. Are you getting a pop up window with a codebase error? If you are, delete the workingdb folder in the My Documents\NBA Live 07\database folder.

hey it worked!! thanks! I forgot to save settings the first time....thank you Pdub!! I miss the 1600x1200 res. but now I have room on my desk for other things besides a huge 65lb. monitor!!
