Some suggestions on players' ratings:
- Charlie Villanueva well known not only as good scorer and outside shooter but also good threepoint shooter for a guy of his size. He shoot the ball from beyond the arc with 33.7% last season. It's pretty good % for him considering that he missed more than half of the season due to his injuries. For example anoter bigman with range - Rasheed Wallace shoot the ball from the perimeter with 35,1% last season - he has fg-75, 3pt-70. By the way, at the end of the season when Charlie fully recovered from his injury he had amazing game against Lakers with 26 points and 6 of 8(!!!) from the threepoint line. It shows that Villanueva really has the touch from the perimeter and current 3pt-62 is too low. Considering his 47,0% fg% fg-70, 3pt-68 will be right for him.
- Darko Milicic seems begins to justify hopes given him with his early pick in 2003 draft. Spending only 23,9 minutes per game he blocks 1.8 shot and grabs 5.5 rebound. His number of offensive rebounds per game is 1.8 and currently he has 35 off.reb. rating - it's too low. For comparison:
Darko Milicic - 23.9 min, 1.8 off. reb, off. reb. rating - 35,
Mikki Moore - 26.3 min, 1.8 off. reb, rating - 55,
Antwan Jamison, 38.0 min, 1.9 off reb, rating - 51,
Josh Howard, 35.1 min, 1.9 off reb, rating - 54.
Hope you'll fix it.
- Nate Robinson - 5-9 energy guy who has very good shot. You can only imagine how it hard to score playing against taller and tougher opponents but he does it. He scores 10.1 point per game with 43.3% from the field and 39.0% from the perimeter with 1.3 3pointer made per game. For comparison Earl Boykins has almost same numbers(fg 42% and 3pt 39,6%) but has higher ratings in game. Same about Jannero Pargo, JR Smith, Mikael Pietrus - all of them has same numbers in real life but higher ratings in game. I think Nate's fg and 3pt ratings should be near 75 both.
- Jason Maxiell very quick guy in reality but has very low speed and quickness ratings in game. They should be at least 70 both imo.
- Josh Smith shoots the ball well every time I watch Hawks games. He has not very impressive fg% due to his poor threepoint shooting but this guy shoots jumpers pretty well, he even makes threes so I think he should have fg rating 70.
- Juwan Howard had fg% 46.5% last season - high enough considering that he almost do not dunk and very rarely goes under the rim. The reason of high % is his outside shot. His shoot is pretty good and seems that it's only reason why his contract wasn't bought out cause he doesn't have defence at all and do not rebound strongly. I think fg-75 will be right for him.
- Tony Allen was one of the best players of Celtics untill the injury: had 7 straight 20+ pts games, made 6-7 rebounds almost in every game, shoot a lot of threes, had very good fg%. I think his current ratings is too low considering his injury. He should have fg and 3pt - 70 both, higher rebound and offensive aware ratings.
- Brandan Roy shoot from the threepoint line with 37.7% last season. I think it's enough to give him 72 3pt rating.
- Rodney Carney had 34.7% from 3pt line last season. So his 3pt rating should be 65 imo.
- Craig Smith spend very good season in Minnesota averaging 7.4 pts, 5.1 rebs per 18.2 mins with 53.1 fg%. His fg and rebound ratings should be higher.
- Kyle Lowry known as tenacious defender with quick hands. He avereged 1.3 steal per 17,2 minutes - very good result. His defensive aware and steal should be 70 at least.
That's all. Looking for your next release, Andrew!
