xbox 360 controller help =(

hey guys my xbox 360 controller is working but i'm using the cd that came with it and nba live 07 is not picking up my L and R triggers...it seems like i dont have enough buttons for the game like switching my icons in game.....i looked all over the board, is there a program that would fix this and let me experience the whole game ?? if so, can i please have the link, thanx guys

well now i just got xbcd and it works fine BUT another big problem...i cant seem to switch freestlye icons on the fly in game at all....i hold my freestyle trigger and press the rightstick button and nothing...i tried configuring but theres no set assignment to that certain freestyle on the fly button...=( i wanna be able to swtich, please help
