Superstar Problems.

Postby 2ShaE on Fri Jun 15, 2007 8:30 pm

hello :)

I have a question that I think is related to here.

while in a game, let's say I have Steve Nash who's a playmaker superstar right?
right, but also he is a shooter, is there a way I can choose if he will be a shooter superstar or a playmaker superstar like it was back in 06?

the reason I ask this question is because the PC always changes superstar modes, like once he's a shooter, then he's an inside scorer, then he's a playmaker etc, etc.

and I have another question, I have a shooter superstar, but I only know how to make 2 kinds of special releases, the quick release with no jumpshot and the jumpshot with the ball going really high.

and again, I see the PC doing alot more tricks of shooting.
so I was wondering how do I do it :) ??

You can cycle through a player's different FSS movesets during the game. You don't need to pick a single style as you did in NBA Live 06.

Correct, FSS is the common abbreviation for Freestyle Superstars. Sorry about that. :)

You can cycle through the different movesets by holding the Superstar Trigger and pressing the Offball Control button (if you're using a dual analog controller, that would be one of the left shoulder buttons and then the right analog button).

I'm not sure sorry, I don't use the keyboard. If you go into the controller configuration it will tell you which key has been assigned to those functions.

Thanks, glad you like them. :) I can't remember all the moves offhand but if you play around a bit in Practice Mode you should get a hang of them. I'm pretty sure all the Shooter moves you mentioned are simple Trigger + Left/Right/Up/Down on the right analog; I'm not sure how that translates to keyboard control.
