roster problem when playing dynasty mode

i downloaded and installed the latest rosters and when i start up the game, i load the roster with the latest updates. when i check the rosters under roster management, they are correct. for example, the warriors have al harrington and stephen jackson. but then when i enter dynasty mode after loading the new rosters, the rosters are back to the old ones, for example the roster without the two players and mike dunleavy and troy murphy instead. i dont understand how to play dynasty mode with the updated rosters. can someone please help me and tell me if im doing something wrong, and if so, what?

Unfortunately the rosters will not affect a Dynasty game already in progress. Additionally you cannot start a new Dynasty game with updated rosters if you choose to hold the 2006 Draft again.
