Endless Clicking on Scouting

I don't really get the importance of scouting the draftees during season, since the cpu automatically picks 3 best players with potential 4 u...

so after awhile scouting gets pretty annoying. gotta click & browse every single time.

there any way to set it so cpu automatically scouts?

Unfortunately not. You can simply choose not to scout players if you don't want to go to the trouble but you need to assign tasks to your scout(s) for them to scout players during the season.

I scout as much as I can and scout as many players as I can so I can try to get the kind of player that i need on my team some of the types of players i go for are

-defensive awareness
- offensive awareness
- 3Pt
- FT
- Stamina
-Speed and Quickness ( i like usually getting a guard with this)
- FG

i'm on the year 2014 near Garnett retirement and one of my needs is a point guard so this year I am shooting for a point guard who is a good passer and has decent defensive awareness or a shooting guard around 6'4- 6"8" who has good defensive awareness.
