Working on dynasty crash fix.

Somebody suggested that the all-too-famous dynasty crash to desktop after quitting a game might be caused because the computer is having trouble going from the in-game resolution to the dynasty menu resolution (640x480).

I know people have been able to change the in-game resolution using a hex-editor and I was wondering if there was a way to change the dynasty menu screen's resolution as well using a hex editor. I think this MIGHT fix the desktop crash after quitting dynasty games.

So does anyone know how to change the resolution in the dynasty menu using a hex editor?

i created a dynasty in a fresh install of 07.. default settings 640x480 etc.. and it still crashes after when i hit quit game after each game.. i basically bought a game i cant play now..

You'll find info about how to play Live in widescreen.

Now if only we can implement a similar measure for the dynasty menu.
Of course, as djb has pointed out, it may not work, but I'd still like to try.
