activating x-factor

Hai
I just started to play Live 07 after my long ragequit from it lol
anyway, wanted to ask what are the key points to activate x-factors
im having trouble activating x-factors in general, but in particular, the Power x-factor
i know the game is unrealistic but are there ways to activate x-factors without doing ridiculous things
e.g. scoring at least 30 points, mainly dunks before the power x-factor is allowed to be unlocked
or similarly for outside and inside scorers

just get some offensive rebounds with them, and give them some easy layups/dunks on fastbreaks and it will be available late in the 2nd quarter(depends on how many minutes u set per quarter)

You shouldn't have to score 30 points to activate FSS moves for X-Factor players. As long as they see a significant amount of court time and are kept in the flow of the offense throughout the game they usually become active in the fourth quarter. If you decide to go to them consistently and have them score 30 points by halftime then they'll be activated much sooner but if realism is what you're aiming for then you won't be doing that anyway.

I disagree with the info posted here.

I regularly play 8 minute quarter games and almost never get a FSS activated. I mean never ever ever, but I dont try to.. I stick more with what works (like scoring with stars).

It isn't something that should necessarily be activated every game though. X-Factor is meant to represent players who can occasionally step up and have a big impact on the game and players on the verge of stardom. I don't believe it's a good approach to actively try and active X-Factor players game in and game out anyway, since star players are much more reliable.

well
the main concern for me is foul trouble (yes i still set the sliders quite high otherwise the PC gets all cheap) and my star players get a ridiculous amount of fouls, this makes me rely on my x-factor and it sucks how u cant activate on will soon as he is in rhythm (ssay 2-3 big post shots for the power x-factor)

That's not the kind of attitude we welcome in this community. Please do not make a habit of it.
