changed the aiact and didnt have the crash after quit game but on the SUM court i had a crash after the loading screen

the aiact should work with 1 game, when you quit that game i've found it's like 50% chance you'll crash. but when you try to start a 2nd 5v5 game it will crash. Nevertheless I will check out the SUM courts to make sure they are working correctly.

After you install there should be a roster called "Street BETA". Only when you load that roster is when the street courts and jerseys will show up. If you load another roster or season or anything then you will go back to NBA courts. If you want to start a "street" season, playoff, or dynasty it WILL work.

GREAT PATCH! fix the bugs and its patch of the year hands down. i love the gameplay. but some things i've found are

1) boris diaw cant dunk. except for the simple 2hander. i mean. shareef and him have same dunk rating, and shareef is throwing down some monster dunks, while diaw does that little flip thing halfway through.

2) my game kept crashing at random times. like first time was after i quit an individual practice with baron davis. and the second time i was in the NBA store and it just crashed.

3) the denver home court..downtown i think? it doesnt show the freestyle superstar icons? is it supposed to be like that?

anyways. thanks for your hard work. hope you can fix these.

turn off bench players in detail settings for right now, Ill take care of that issue in the first bug fix.

Im using Andrew's Roster so that means Diaw can't dunk in there as well, just goto edit player and change his dunk package.

The Crashing is because of the AIACT. Me and pdub found out what was causing the crashing in the dunking file but can't figure out what the hell is wrong with the passing file.

There shouldn't be an issue with the Denver court, the reason I put the wood court there was because of that issue. Nevertheless I shall check it out.

yeah but if i change the dunk package in edit player, diaw's overall shows as 99. and then that isnt really accurate.

yah um, in andrews roster I increased everyone's ratings so there should be a lot of high overalls

I think I scale I used was square root of the current rating times 10. So a rating of 25 became 50, 36 became 60, 49 > 70, 64 > 80, 81 > 90.

This was meant to give a more arcade-like gameplay so centers could throw alleyoops without them going out of bounds everytime.

The reason the overall ratings didnt change was because i made the change in Open Office and not in the game.

Alright Bug Fix #1

Fixes:
Cavs and Hornets Home Courts Fixed (SUM Practice Court)
AIACT Fixed to prevent crashing (still optional to use)
Bench Players now sit where they should on all courts (you should still turn the bench players off because they have nothing to sit on)
On the Midnight Court (Nets and Trailblazers) Fixed issue where the backboard texture didnt show up.
Optional Realistic Ratings Players.dbf
Fixed Trailerblazer jerseys; they weren't showing up.

The AIACT should no longer cause any crashes and I have made some changes. Fancy passing is still there, there should be a random chance of a alleyoop when using it. If you hold the pass button when inbounding you should do a alleyoop pass (I have yet to actually pull this off though)

There is a README.txt with instructions on how to install everything. Thank you all for your input and your patience!

I really love this patch Jaosming. I hope you improve it more. Are you going to make only five players in a team? And i really like the FSS only a normal play, but i realized that i cannot do a fancy pass. but still a good patch

Players can dunk from the 3pt line, thankfully they don't leave the ground until they are closer to the basket. I haven't tried fixing this issue because the computer doesn't take advantage of it, only the user . So if you want it to stop, just don't do it.

The first AIACT was Pdub's First update, this one uses v1.2. I have had amazing results with the "Custom" sliders and this version of his AI update.

I will be making my own roster...sometime. What is more important to me is every team (on each conference) gets their own court {so I have to make i think 3 more}.

As for the passing, do you mean that you cannot do FSS Playmaker passing? Cause I never touched that area of the panim.act. For my fancy passing you just hold the pass button a little longer, and in this 2nd version I took out the fancy alleyoop passing because that was causing the crashing.

Hi guys, I'm brazilian, its my first post but I see this forum since 2005

well, i know its a BETA version but I have many doubts and sugestion for you

1) Why dont you put sportswear on coachs, adidas paints, nike t-shirts..its a sugestion

2) is it normal dont show de real jerseys of the patch on menu and show the nba07's jerseys?

3) Do you think to change the songs of the arena to put screams of:"woOOoW" "haha good job man" or other song file to simulate a real street court ?!?!?!

4) How about menus? is there the possibility to put hot sauce, for exemple, on menu with his special video!??!

5) Are there special teams on the final version? (and1,rappers...how the last versions)

6) Is it normal or a bug?

everytime i try to load a game and when it seems like the game is just about to start(just after the loading screen with the player and the feature description) my game crashes with no error popups...
this has happened for like 7 teams now...
i have all the files installed including the bug fix... it was working fine yesterday without the bugfix

Nope not a bug, a feature and that isnt even a joke! That feature was put in I think in like 2000, it allows you to do give and go plays really easy. But since that is happening you are holding the pass button too long when you do the fancy passing, you only need to hold it just a little bit longer than normal and you'll be fine.

Lean, I sent you a PM, don't worry about the billboards. I think I'm going to continue on in a different direction. And no, it doesnt count as three points It's not even that big of a bug, if you want to see it just goto practice mode, run towards the 3pt line and press dunk. Player kinda slides a little bit but other than that its really no big deal.

I dont have any plans to fix the 3pt dunk glitch because I really dont think its a big deal, you can prevent it, I mean who is going to press the dunk button near the 3pt line? As for another bug fix, well, I hope there isnt another one, but if something goes wrong there will be one as soon as I can make one.

kito_BR, thanks for the greetings from Brazil I went down with a friend from Sao Paulo and visited his area of the city and Rio. Great trip.

1. I hope to update the coach suits with the dunk contest fans' clothing for version 0.2
2. It is normal for the regular jerseys to be shown in the jersey select.
3. In a future release I will update the sounds; Im just trying to figure out the best way to do it.
4. I personally don't care much for doing menus and stuff like that, I'd rather pay more attention to the gameplay (making a better aiact, fixing/making courts, adding teams ect).
5. I hope to release Midnight Ballers with version 0.2 and I will probably make it so the international teams can get in on the action as well for 0.2, Decade teams I will take care of later. But yes I hope to include more teams as I release more versions.
6. That my friend is a bug, I have reuploaded a tnet.fsh in the sgsm folder of the bug fix. I kinda assumed everyone had a custom net by now.
