x1950 Pro-Cooler?

Postby BigReese on Wed Jan 31, 2007 11:31 pm

My specs are intel duo e6600, 2gigs ram, 250sata, and x1950 pro-cooler 512 video card. Why on earth can I not run this game? The frame rate is horrible. I can run madden with every thing maxed out, with no problems at all. Do I not have enough to run this game in high detail? Is there a certain way to install this game or a patch I don't know about.

Nah, must be something driver related cause I have an old ass pc.. Barton 2500+ @ 220 FSB, 2x 512 Corsair XMS 3700, 9800xt and run this game perfectly with everything maxed out using 4x AA, 8x AF on 1024 x 768.

If you have a dual core maybe you have to deselect one of the core's or choose the other core when you are running the game. Start the game, alt+tab out, press CTRL+ALT+DEL and bring up the task manager. You will have to "change affinity" for nbalive07.exe by disabling one of the core's, I think you need to disable the second core.

You may also need to update your sound drivers because I read that it may not be a problem with dual core support from the game, but from the sound drivers.

I'm only repeating what I've read, you should look here -
