ESPN Overlays V2.2 with logos released

Talk about NBA Live 07 here.

I played 1 game earlier with it and it worked excellent, except for the already mentioned problem with the pg dribbling at the top of the 3pt line. Hopefully you'll be able to solve that, you've done an excellent job nonetheless.

Dunno, maybe it's just me, but I have another problem. Everything works fine if a leader of a team is SG-SF ( Lakers, Houston or whatever), but if a leader is PF-C (Wolves, Memphis, Clipps) PG still dominates. I played vs Wolves and M.James got 28pts with ~20 shots, while KG got only 3 shots. Same with Memphis.

Panco, try playing against a team with a dominant big man again. Before the tipoff, switch your controller to the cpu team and set their team strategy to "scorer pf" or "power c" instead of "shooter a." If you want, you can then go into their offensive playbooks and set the other plays for there scorers. Switch back to your team and see if they go into the post more.

I've been working on a fix for the "standing dribbling" problem. I have fixed it, but it looks like it might lead to more dribble driving, we'll see. I'll post some results, later.

Guess what? The full cyberface sweat pack is just about finished. It will just be all the default faces from EA.

One question for you, because of the lower resolution in 07, the beaded sweat on bald players doesn't look too good. I just wanted to know what you all thought of these pics, some are closeup, some are farther away. Should I remove the beaded sweat from bald players?

Click on the pics to view them at their original resolution.

Another AI update. I have fixed the problem where players stand still dribbling the clock out, but it caused the pg to try and dribble drive alot.
So, I will be making a thread in the general section on tips for guiding the point guard during transition, which will discourage them from forcing a drive to the rack and pass or run a play. I will still be releasing an update to the aiact.

That game was very fun, even though I lost. Miami went into Shaq and Haslem alot in the 1st quarter. Shaq got the most shots per minute, but I would have liked to see some 3's from Wade and Walker, only J Will shot from downtown. Late in the game I couldn't stop them so I kept fouling, which added to their FT attempts. Jason Williams was the Player of the game.

I like the sweat on the shaved heads, looks quite real.
but I would have liked to see some 3's from Wade and Walker, only J Will shot from downtown.

I know you tweaked the aiact, but did you also modify values like 3pt attempts or primacy in players.dbf to get these results?

great AI update!! i like how the cpu use most of the clock to set up a play. but theres one thing i notice, CPU temas got a lot of 3 sec violations with this aiact.

Pdub, excellent work you got going here. The game only started becoming enjoyable after I started using your aiact. I have a question though... do you ever play on player lock? Because if you do, then perhaps you have noticed often when your cpu teammate is on the fast break and gets into the paint and just stands there without doing anything. It usually results in either 3 sec violation, or the opponents catching up with him and fouling him or blocking his shot. Every now and then, he does dunk the ball before they catch-up with him, but this occurs rarely. Also, pressing the dunk button doesn't always help in these scenarios. Btw, this isn't a problem with your aiact, because it was occurring already in 06. It's just, I'm hoping it is possible you can change this, since it seems you can alter the players' behaviors via the aiact.

I've heard that about player lock. You basically have dumb teammates and you have to tell them when to shoot. I never use player lock.

Are you gonna release the sweat update as the plyrface.viv or individual fsh files?

Cyberface Sweat Pack Released

Download

RyanP, its a plyrface.viv file.

If any problems arise, like the game crashing when subs are made, just extract the cyberfaces from the VIV into the sgsm directory, but be careful of overwriting already downloaded cyberfaces.

TV style Press Cam. Intended to mimic the tv view, while providing playability.

High Press Cam. The preview doesn't look much higher then the TV style one, but it is.

Overhead Press Cam.

I will need to work on the zoom for each camera. Just want to hear your thoughts.
I also have a sideline-like camera that sweeps like JaoSming's, but it isn't much different than his. I have a center court-like camera that is low, stationary and rotates. I have to remake them though. :P

Great job, I'm definitely interested in the 1st press cam, especially if it can zoom in a little near the basket (Y)
