I got a 360 for X-Mas today with Tony Hawk's Project 8 and NBA 2K7. Both games are excellent (though I suck at 2K7). However, after playing it for like an hour, I turned it off and had breakfast. I turned it back on and my controller didn't work. The troubleshooting was no help, and after trying different batteries, I realized it is broken. Ugh... now I have to go to Target tomorrow to exchange the controller. :( Stupid Wireless piece of shit.

The wireless controllers are actually really good, though. I suggest not going to the cord controllers. These wireless controllers that the 360 has are the best ever made, in my opinion.

I got the new controller and it works perfectly. NBA Live has been and always will be playable, but will never be very good. However, NBA 2K7 for 360 is the best b-ball sim out there. It is brilliant. my only beef is the horrible menus in Association Mode.

Also, Tony Hawk's Project 8 is a great game if you like Tony Hawk games. There hasn't been a good TH game since THPS4 until now. I recommend renting it though because it is rather short, and unless you really like the game, you probably won't want to play after a few online matches and making it onto Project 8. I've played about 7 hours of it and I'm rank #60 (out of 200) so it is kind of short and easy.

Can't wait to get Xbox Live Gold and some more games!

Okay so I'm about to setup my Xbox Live. I was wondering if i should take the cheap way and get a shitty router and use wires to connect my xbox 360 to the internet, or by the Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter, and have a wireless connection that has an easy setup. (Yes I have the money for that one) I'm looking into the wireless one, but i was wondering if you guys know of anything else wireless that is less expensive, or if the 100 dollar xbox adapter is worth it?

They're all there, just under different names. Liverpool are Mersyside Red or something, Chelsea are West London Blue or something along those lines.

I went with the cheap way and just have a wire going around the room to connect to my 360. I think it's sort of a waste to spend $100 just to have wireless. The only time wireless would be good is if you don't have any internet connection in that room.

I picked up Rockstar's Table Tennis yesterday. Got it half price, reduced from AUD$70 to AUD$35. Very fun multiplayer game. From the looks of it, the game would lack depth as a single player game, but heck for AUD$35, it's the next best thing to having an actual ping pong table set up.

I´ve got Table Tennis from some time now... it has a great realistic feel and the gameplay is exellent but there´s no carrer or anything to keep you connected to it unless the online mode... if there was a create-a-player mode pluss some sort of a carrer mode it would be really cool.

Also, wireless will add 1 or 2 ping delay to your lag.

there is a demo of Lost Planet, you might wanna try that.

Dead Rising is good, if you really like 2k7 pick up College Hoops. I like it cause I make myself then get drafted after 1 year.

Does anyone actually own the new Tony Hawk? I've played the demo a lot so I think I should buy it.
Opinions are my own.

Got my 260 for Christmas, I haven't went to the store lately, so all i have is Burnout: Revenge, College Hoops 2k7 and NBA 2k7. NBA is scratched all to hell, because I accidentally tipped the console while I was playing, and the CD doesn't move with the console, and it goes right into the metal part of the laser, and it has a nice circle scratch right in the middle of the CD. We're trying to get it buffed, the game is kickass. College Hoops and Burnout are sweet too.

Sweet. you got a 260, did it cost less.

I'm gonna see and if I can find places with monthly payments, any ideas on how to do so? Because I don't think I can afford to pay it all at once.
