shot clock

I dont know if anyone already mention this question or not:
when i play the game sometimes the comupter controlled team would just hand on to the ball and stay there and do nothing if i am guarding him, and i waited for like around 2 minutes...and the shot clock still didnt come out or neither they get a shot clock violation for holding the basketball that long. :(

also there is another thing, i dont its an issue or not, it seems everytime the computer want to sub, it will make me foul...i know 06 has this as well, but i didnt really play with the substitution thing until 07... forgive me if this is a dumb question

Well okay, I think this belongs in this thread:

Okay, to answer your questions: The cpu does this sometimes, just standing still but usually he jacks up a shot with 2 seconds left or he get's a shot clock violation. Check out whether you have enabled the 24 sec. rule.

Please clarify your second post, everytime the cpu wants to sub you commit a foul? Ehm thats pretty normal, as you are only allowed to sub after a foul, free-throw, out of bounds etc... and there is no need for the cpu to have pending subs as he can make this decision in milliseconds. So nothing special about it.

And btw... make use of the edit button, no need to double post.

oh there is some issue, even with update patch installed where the cpu at times mabe one ot twice a game will have player just stand there looking like he's ready to pass and do nothing and gets shot clock volation happaning. there some wired thing about, but dont no the answer to it. yes i know i have the shot clock on. the only setting i change is no three sec defenive call and cup shot contrl, and five fouls and 10 minute time questers, if that might tell us something. everything use is st as it comes playing rookie ball. we'll see if ther somithng going on.
