lol, you are right there is! :)

I was admiring the screenshots and then read that 'you want to make sure the camera doesnt crash before releasing' and thought it was about this camera and not the sideline one, anyways great work and thanks :)

nice one, trying this one out (Y)

when you do the sideline camera you should try and replace one of the baseline cameras (baseline high IMO) if you can so we can have 2 sidelines and 2 baselines.
Opinions are my own.

Ok, I just played a game with the camera(yeah I released it without playing a full game).
I noticed alot of jerking from the camera. I will try to see if I can smooth out the camera movements before I try making a new one because I want to grasp how the changes I make in the file affect the camera in the game.

One of u patching experts mentioned making the camera patch awhile ago. I've been waiting and have to say that the patch is excellent. Great job Pdub!

One problem though...

Is there anyway to adjust the view during freethrows? The view during the 2nd freethrow only shows the shooter at the line and the basket isn't visable

As I said, I want to make sure I know what I am doing before I add any other cameras. I especially want to get rid of the way the camera jumps and jerks at certain spots on the court.

Edit -- Live 05 Press Camera has been updated with smoother movements.

"NBA Live 07/merlin" directory. It was also in the readme file.

Man, I have been trying to get the sideline camera in. The values that it uses are very different. From editing I got an interesting camera just under the ball during jumpball, but it didn't move or turn. Any more changes I make I get nothing but a black screen, or a crash. I will try again this weekend.

Hey Pdub, I noticed that there's no more automatic zoom near the basket (even when the option is enabled). Do you think there's any way to fix that?
On a side note, for some strange reason I seem to have to gained a few fps with this new camera view, the game is a bit smoother now...
Good job man (Y)

Talking about press camera 05, it is perfect, don't need anything to change, and you are doing a great job Pdub on the Sideline, good luck! (Y)

Updated thoughts on the camera view: strangely, I did gain a couple of fps and the overall speed of the game went up too, I had to lower it to 37 while it was at 41. I don't know why these would be consequences of a new press cam though...
I really like it, but if there was a way to re-enable the automatic zoom it'd be perfect, cuz it's pretty hard to see what's going on in the paint now :)

I'm not sure how I got the autozoom to work in the first place, but you can always use the zoom function in the camera settings menu and make it a little closer.

Edit - It turns out that for the 2xarmbands that the tattoo file for delonte west, dewest__arm_tat.fsh, is causing the crashes with Boston. Please delete or rename the file, I will be working on a fix for it.

EDIT 2 - I fixed the file for the 2xarmbands. Everyone should redownload the new one, it has the same link, but the Delonte West tattoo file is fixed.

If someone else created arm files with sweat for people who use "lighting off", then I bet the images for the arm files are only 256x256. That would definitely cause all the tattoos to be out of position, but it would also cause the armbands to be out of position, also. The 2x arms/bands and tats are all 2x'd(512x512 resolution). That means you would have to double the size the arm files so they are 512x512. You can do this in FSHX to each of the arm files(arm00.fsh-arm42.fsh), or you can contact the creator of the "lighting off" sweat patch and ask them to release a 2x version.

Be specific with which player(s). It's easy enough to fix. Just need to let us know which players you lost.
