I got a question for you maddog:

What's your ratings? i dont understand your question, but i anwser one anwsers that come to my head after reading this question: i updated roster in the game with roster managment, trade player and sing/trade player :lol:

, but i think it wasnt what you wanted to know :roll:

Fatigue effect? ON :lol:

Sub freq? Human and CPU I put that higher that it was, but dont remember the right number

Game difficulty? starter and superstar

Quarter Length? 2-3 different minuts i have played, but not lower than 5

I'm trying to figure out why your one of the few that this patch works on?

So you applied the patch like the rest of the world but what slider tweaks have you done to make it play perfectly for you?

I think that's a much clearer question.

When I played a first quarter last nite, CPU called a timeout and subbed around mid-quarter (I was never happier to hear the buzzer announcing the timeout

).
So the subbing seems to work for me, but CPU PG was still killing me, the shoes are still not fixed and for some reason my framerate was a bit lower after installing the patch...

PS: Damn, 5 pages within a few hours! !

If you would like a fix for PG domination, download Jimmy's and make sure you put all his included files in their correct places. That patch coupled with what we have from EA is just fantastic. Their still is some work to be done on figuring out why certain players aren't getting tired.

Other than that, the patch so far seems pretty good. It's getting us closer to 2k7 in terms of gameplay. (I have both games)

To all those complaining about players not getting tired PLEASE look at the players stamina rating....there are some players that honestly could play 48 minutes a game if they wanted. And if you're playing on quarters that equal anything less...of course they're not gonna tire. As all the moderators/staff have said this looks to be a preliminary patch and i agree because i can promise you a final patch would be announced and have EA Sports stamped all over it with ads for madden and head coach in the corner. I'm not meaning to defend EA, they released a shitty game...but i'm sick of people being so impatienty...they're working on it....this is proof...i agree with the statement...look for a patch next week or soon after.

hmmm mine stopped at 75% saying the "screens.viv" is not old. Is this because i used a patch to get the save stats button to show up, or does other get this aswell that didnt use that patch?

Here is the facts about the patch don't stalling!

People who has the US version of the game: the patch installs OK
People who has the Game with 3 options: German, English and Frensh (i think): the patch say thar it can't find oold file.

Aparentelly the second group is the game avaliable in most EUROPE and SOUTH AMERICA.

So, Just wait for que real one! Apatentellu the nbalive07.exe has a few bytes more on the nos US version.

Yeah, I wouldn't go as far as to thank EA, whether it's a beta version of the patch or not, the game is still plagued with issues and it'll certainly remain that way even if other patches are released. Plus it's been a month already, while EA released a patch for the new Battlefield the very same day of its release...
There wouldn't be a need for a patch if the original version had been properly tested.

regarding the patch.. it added the fatigue effect menu but still it wont sub.. but how come other people claim that it worked for them? my autosub sliders are at 100.. well, i guess it only means the waiting for the official patch continues.. :cry:

You either have a cracked version :roll:

or you haven`t copy&paste the patch file in the NBA Live 07 correct directory.

i dont think you still need to copy paste the patch to the right directory coz i installed the patch just fine. no errors or anything. im using the dvd to play the game no cracks installed.

Anyway, doesn't work here either. The screens are there (obviously since there was some .viv editing while patching) but it's doesn't work in terms of gameplay. I set the CPU Subs Frequency slider to 100 and there was only 2 CPU subs (due to foul trouble) in a 4*8 minutes game.

So...

it seems like we have the same problem..
