Dahl's patching thread |

Talk about NBA Live 07 here.

Postby arenas809 on Wed Oct 18, 2006 12:09 pm

I don't have a problem with the original scoreboard, I just think its too big, and it covers the entire screen.

The logos are actually nice, a traditional scoreboard is what is really needed, like the ones we had in 06 that were placed in the lower right corners.

dude, scoreboard is good. can you try making some scoreboards like fox sports?

another question: will you make court patches this year?
I'm tired of hearing about money, money, money, money, money. I just want to play the game, drink Pepsi, wear Reebok.

This patch updates the 2D crowd in NBA Live 07 so that it will look slightly lighter.

Since EA Sports put a very dark arena lighting in all their stadiums, this patch will only make them appear slightly lighter, since white will appear grey and colours will appear faded. It also varies from arena to arena, so the crowd in Miami will appear lighter than the one in Los Angeles. There's nothing I can do about that though; at least not until I figure out how to edit the arena lightings...

To install the patch, just place the .fsh files into your \NBA LIVE 07\SGSM\ folder. The \NBA Live 07\ folder is the one where you installed the game (During a regular installation, its C:/Program Files/EA Sports/NBA LIVE 07), not the NBA Live 07 folder under 'My Documents'. If you want to remove the patch, just remove the same files.

Ibaony: Get some some good pictures of the Fox scoreboard and I might do it. And yes, I will make a few court patches...

kinoth_02: Wrong thread

Cloudy: I'm looking into it with the help of PDub, so hopefully (y)

i believe the darkness is due to the xxxxstd_trans.ebo. I have no idea how to edit that with a hex editor but that would be where I would start if you want to try and lighten that up.

Great work tho, you kind of beat me to it. I was going to try and import 2001's crowd into the 2d crowd.
