Should I buy 07?

Hi, I've been reading this forum and visiting nba-live.com for a long time (since NBA Live '01 I believe) and just now got around to registering.

I have Live 05 on the PC and enjoy it a lot. I usually play dynasty mode, random team, and play them with short seasons & 5 minute quarters. I don't have an XBOX and don't plan on getting one.

The question is: should I buy 2007? I have the money just sitting there for it, but from the issues I've read about it's not worth the money...yet. I have been extremely disappointed with EA's lack of support for their Live products, so this recent news of a patch is amazing and welcome. I think I'll wait for all of you to make your comments after the patch comes out before deciding.

Otherwise, '05 it is. Heck, I have hundreds of hours on this game already, and but for a few extremely annoying bugs that crop up once in a while it's a great game.

If you do plan on getting NBA Live 07, PC would definitely be the way to go since no fix for the console versions has been announced. I feel I'll be able to enjoy the game once the patch is released; it won't be perfect but some improvements have been made over NBA Live 06, the issues aside it's not an inferior game to last year overall.

The fairest advice I can give would be to check out feedback here in the Forum after the patch is released and if you know someone with the game check it out for yourself before you go out and buy it. That way, you can make an informed decision.

Thanks for your replies...I definitely will wait for the patch first. But if you think that there are some significant improvements over 2005 and 2006 then I'll consider getting it if the patch fixes the main issues.

Improvements yah there is ... graphics and gameplay but sure thing there will always be a down part of this like BUGS and Tweeks they could fix this hopefully

and at least if you buy this another added up game in your collection i guess :p
