Worst NBA live ever ?

I don't have the game yet, but reading everywhere this should be the worst NBA live ever ? Do you agree?

Live 07 is crap compared to what people expected and what EA producers told it would be like.
The bad reviews are not about comparing the game with previous editions but with other games from this year like 2k. I mean, if they go much better from year to year EA should do the same or better, if they consider themselves the best in the market and they tell people they are the best.

It is the best ever NBA Live that has been made but it has the worst bugs of NBA Live ever.

That is again a topic that is not really necessary .....

It is not as bad as everybody is describing it.
The bugs are more than annoying, they make the (improved) Dynasty Mode senseless ("why need benchplayers with no subs?" - "How to play 82 games instead of 28?" - "Why do average point guards kill me every game?" - There is a fix for the PG dominance at least)

But the gameplay is really cool, the new defense is nice, X-Factor players are cool, Star&Superstar players are a nice addition, switching the FSS on the fly is working quite nicely and the graphics are good, even on PC if you know what you have to do with the settings of your graphic card.

Well, happy to hear this. :lol:

I've got all the nba live games since the start and I've always appreciate the game for the fun it gave me.
So wait for a patch soon that sort much possible.

Live 2002 was the worst Ever. Yuk. 2001 is in second place, and live 2003 is third. lol Who remembers those REDICULOUS bad cutscenes?

Honestly Im actually looking forwards to Live08, Because after this years debacle, Ea with just buy Visual Concepts... Next year big innovation will be extensive beta testing. Woot!

1999 is the worst. Had ghetto font for menus. EA was trying to be "tough" and "street. "

2002 might have been the worst (the year they didn't make it for the PC - boy was I pissed). I bought the PS2 version and it sucked. Part of it was due to me hating consoles. I'm exceedingly grateful for the PC in terms of updating rosters, using a keyboard, better resolution than a crap tube tv.

By the way, what the heck is with that stinking cutscene that flashes a BIG NBA LIVE 07 logo in my face after I make a free throw? It's enough to give anyone an epileptic seizure. What asshole came up with that - do I really need a reminder that I'm playing Live 07? I thought the whole idea of a simulation was to eliminate all the interruptions in the game that make you realize it's a game.

I think this flashing cutscene garbage started in 05.

06 is the absolute worst it's "skating with the nba stars"
The bugs in 07 are bad but if you play against a friend then you learn to look past it and and laugh at the ridiculous bugs.

05 was probably the best

04 tied with 05 IMO cause great soundtrack and i had fun with the new feature"pro hop" and it had nice cutscenes that add realism and cyberface portraits for created players was nice. Probably my personal favourite.

03 hunchbacked running players and pg domination TERRIBLE
02 i never played but a friend told me it was crap
01 i have on ps1 and dont mind it because i dont remember playing 00' and 99' because it was so long ago.
98' and anything below it sucks ass nba jam was the shit to get back then.

i hate when you are attempting a FT, with the camera on the side, and they show some stats right over your player. Its just in the way.

07 is worse than 06. after patching the whole game, it was ok. but it was like having a new game, maybe nlsc 2006 or something

atleast it hadn't this "hi, i'm eric snow, and i'm gonna kick your ass now" - problem. (for the ones who don't know what i mean => pg domination).

you know, as i played today, and telfair and west donated me together 45 points, a started to laugh first. but then it changed more to whining.

But hey. I think upsets, crying and laughing are a big part of the nba live series. coul you ever live without this incredible bugs? hell, that would be like the worst day in my life.

I Play on PS2, this is the first NBA Live that doesn't fit in my TV, the screen is too long vertically so when i'm playing, I don't see the scores that's on top of the screen and there's no way you can resize it. What's up with that.
