Guillaume Vetaux, gvetaux@yahoo.fr

Fix the fucking bugs EA!!! Can't believe this version has been released with no subs, outrageous PG domination, gamepad bugs (no direct switch to last defender, SF and C switched...), useless turbo,.......
At least I'm glad mine has never crashed so far.
Also, the player creation is exactly the same as last year, why in fuck's name would they keep these ridiculous hair options?

With Player lock on, one of the player's cursor will disappear. Happens alot when you have 2 players on the same team w/ player lock on for both. Very-very annoying having to go the the options/controller to get one of the player cursor to come back. Ruins the flow of the game among other things.
Both players were using logitech dual analog controllers

Andrew could you please add this to the list....

Has there ever been a NBA Live that created this much fuss?

Yet another bug....*sigh*...this one's a little hard to describe. One of the best ways to blow by defenders in 06 was to use a freestyle pivot move, for example holding the right analog stick to the right while standing still with the ball (not dribbling). After you made the pivot move, you could typically choose to take a quick first step either left or right. In Live 07, you can't exit these animations into a quick first step. Maybe this video will help:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=lSpGmbZloPY

As Kidd tries to make a move toward the basket out of the pivot, it randomly triggers a Freestyle crossover, essentially ruining the move.

This is second on my list in terms of irritating bugs, and it doesn't seem like one that they would fix in a patch. This was one of the best ways to start a one-on-one move, and it's now useless.

I've also determined that Superstar Outside Scorers are the only players who have the extra pivot moves from 06. They now replace the original ones, whereas in 06 you would hold down the FSS trigger then move the right analog stick. They suffer from the same problem. There's no way to transition from a pivot move to a drive to the basket.

Holy crap . And I though it couldn't get worse.

I've noticed that too. I was using it a lot in '06, and maybe it was actually making it too easy at times, but it looked kinda realistic. Here, it always fails (at least in superstar mode) cuz the player doesn't go straight past his defender, whether left or right, but he does some weird dribbling and it never leads anywhere...

I used this CONSTANTLY in 06....hope to see it in the petition, as it shouldn't be that hard to fix.

I also tested to see if holding up on the right analog stick while holding the ball would do the pivot, or trigger the pro hop. It did the pivot, but somehow I wish I could do both...

A good reason to be confused about this bug is that they fixed last year's pivot problem, as shown in this video. If you tapped up on the right analog stick while facing the basket, the player would turn around (the first animation in that video), but when you tried to do the post-up pivot moves, it would awkwardly use the facing-the-basket pivot moves, which was clearly a bug. That's been fixed in 07, but now they screwed up the pivot moves facing the OTHER direction.....

Yosi Tal , yosifun4u@gmail.com

Two questions:
1) Is Jay Williams missing in the game? I don't remember seeing him.. if he's not in the game please add him to the missing players list
2) Is the pro-hop been removed from the game or is there a new way to execute it? Because I didn't see "pro-hop" label when I set up the buttons for my controller.

Thanks :D

I wouldn't say Jay Williams is "missing", considering he was signed after the game was released, but he should indeed be in the roster updates.

The pro-hop is now performed by holding up on the right analog stick. Use the search function next time, as this has been discussed often.
