I knew that you gonna make it.
I really like that pic with players celebrating the win.
Nets' backcourt may cause you some problems in the conference finals.

Congrats on beating the cavs and advancing. Any strategy on containing new jerseys big 3? So far you have a pretty realistic playoffs, the pistons and suns made to the conference finals in real life, and the spurs and nets made it to the second round. Good luck :).

Good luck against the Nets, I'm hopeful that you'll beat them.

It'd be nice to see a 05 finals rematch with the Spurs but it would be way cool if you played against the Suns, and even cooler if Nets advanced and played against the Suns :P

Oh yesm you did it.
Nets are a good opponent, but you should outbattle their frontcourt easily. Time for Sheed I guess ... ;)

Yeah I love those pics, the graphics always seem to be nice in them, Yeah the nets could cause me trouble in the backcourt, but I should Rape them up front

Thanks, I think as long as I stick to my Defense first mentality I should be able to contain them ok, im confident I should be able to outsocre them if nessecary, the Pistons are too good on offense in this game

Yeah the train is going strong, lets hope its final destination will be to pick up the trophy (Y)

Lol ill be hoping its against the Spurs, I think id find them easier than the Suns, although I lost to both in the regular season

Yeap its time for Sheed, although when its obvious as player should be having an easy time someone unexpected seems to get most of the points for me

Yeah the West wont be won easily, what was your username before? I take it you changed it?

THanks, Suns vs Pistons would be interesting, Running game vs Defensive stopping game.

Thierry wrote:Great stuff man, wow Spurs 2-0 over Grizz, nice.

Yeah I suspected the Spurs would make it through quite easyt

Cheers, it would have been dissapointing to be knocked out by them Lebronless

Yeah it did get rather close, but i managed to pull through in the end so its all good.

Aight not many people have put in their predictions for this series, but I will go ahead and pst the first game once I have it ready.

Pistons take the first game, look promising for the second.

Boxscores:[Nets]|[Pistons]

The Pistons played their typical game, and the Nets couldnt find any answer for it.
Rip Hamilton and Rasheed Wallace both played big parts in the Pistons great offensive performance.
The Nets never really looked comfortable during the game, and the Pistons pounced on this
making sure they changed the tempo whenever the Nets looked to be settling in.

Apart from a short 2 minute period during the second quarter the Nets never were within 5 points of the Pistons.
During a 10-2 run in th 3rd quarter Rip Hamilton made 2 consecutive 3 pointers
followed by a fast break dunk to send the Detroit crowd wild.
The Nets came back a little in the fourth, and managed to outscore the Pistons,
however they still couldnt get within 10 to close the game.

Vince Carter put on a poor show on defense, with Rip Hamilton scoring 33 points on 56% shooting,
however VC had a good offensive night with 35 points and 5 rebounds.
As predicted Rasheed had a good scoring night with 24 points.
Ben Wallace was once again great on D with 5 steals, 2 blocks and 16 rebounds.

ImageImage
Billups had 10 assists, a couple were on alley oops to Prince || Ben harrased the Nets all over the court.
ImageImage
Hunter once again had a solid gmae off the bench with 5 assists || RJ had 3 big dunks on the Detroit defense in this game.
ImageImage
The Detroit defense was tough, but Carter still managed to get 35 points || Kidd had a poor game, only recording 2 assists, possibly the reason New Jersey could never get on a roll.

Good job, Rip again with a huge game, Sheed did his best and used his space. Chauncey is doing extremely well with his passing.

I think you will win the title. The Pistons just won in my dynasty they are so strong.

Billups brings the Pistons through in one of the biggest clutch performances ever.

Image

Image
Boxscores:[Pistons]|[Nets]

Chauncy Billups put on a performance to remember.
Hoisting the Detroit Pistons on his shoulders Billups outscored the New Jersey Nets by 5 points in the 4th quarter.
New Jersey had no answer for the resilient Point Guard who dropped 27 points on them in the 4th quarter.
Billups dominated all over the court, also recording 3 assists and 7 steals for the quarter.

Billup's 4th Q stats
Image

The game was relatively boring for the first 3 quarters with the Pistons finding themselves
down by 5 points heading into the 4th, however it was from there that Billups took over.
The Pistons outscored the Nets by 26 points in the quarter 36 - 10 as the Nets had their backs to the wall the whole Q.
Vince Carter who was criticised for his poor defense on Rip Hamilton in game 1
did a far better job in this game, holding hamilton to 16 points while recording 5 steals.

The Pistons will now go on to face the winner of the Suns/SPurs series, and with recent form, look almost unstoppable.

ImageImage
Jefferson tried all he could in the game, however it wasnt enough to hold off the Pistons.
ImageImage
VC once again was dangerous on Offense as well as picking up his defense. || The Pistons will be getting practiced at celebrating series wins
