I like heiks slider but the scores are still very high, it could just be my playing style but I don't know, for example I played a game against Portland with Seattle and the final score was 122 to 134, I'm still learning some of the controls for my defense as most of the points the A.I gets comes in the paint.

Heiks sliders are very good for 10 minute/quarters. His first slider sets was set to 12 minutes and i got 130+ points, i lowered the quarter minutes to 10 and got very nice stat lines. (FGA,FGM,TR,FTA,PFs,except i get a little bit high TO's) His current sliders i believe were for 10 minute/quarters.

try using the right analog stick in defence to prevent cpu to penetrate more often, right analog push left or right + left anolog for direction control...i thinhk it may help, Im using this strategy the cpu players cannot penetrate inside the key so easily , they forced to shoot midrange or even 3 pt jumper.

I've tried a few sliders and both teams always score over 30 points (in 12 minute quarters). That might just be my play style, but is there one where there would be less points (say, 20 a game...it'd probably translate to 25 for me) in 12 quarters without sacrificing too much game speed?

I keep seeing that tests show that games are usually at 100 points in 12 minute quarters, which is already over the average for NBA teams as is. What's a good way to fix up these sliders so that it works out? I'd like a pace of about 65, still have shooting %'s about the same, but have scores that are realistic in 12 minutes. Is that even possible in this game?

...I've never played a Live game that has realistic scores over 12 quarters with reasonable shooting %'s.

I can vouch for that I've been using them in my dynasty with his playbooks and my games have been totally awesome. Lot's of variety highscoring, low scoring, OT's I've seen it all using his combination of sliders and playbooks. My only problem now is since the CPU is making trades in my Dynasty and some guy's are moving around I don't how to really adjust each teams playbooks because of the trades. For instance Minnesota actually traded Wally in the game to New Orleans for Desmond Mason. I was wondering if I just use the plays from Minnesota's playbook and put it in for New Orleans so Wally would could just run the same play he had with the T-Wolves.

Other than that confusion I'm still loving and enjoying this years Live thanks to Playmakers.

Looks great, pj5! I'll try them later today, maybe. I was waiting for some sliders with low scores over 12 minutes while retaining a decent game speed...

The 8 scores in the 4 games averaged out to be 92 points, which is pretty much what happens in a NBA game. Now I just have to test them out. :)
