you have to extract them to the sgsm folder.
some of them might require some dbf editing,not sure

What must I do to get these portraits into my game. All of those players are in my game. I know I have to put the files into the sgsm folder.

What you have to do is pretty simple, the .DBF editing. You need to open up a program like DB Commander, and open up the players.dbf part of your roster. After that, you need to find the players in it that you are going to edit. For example, John Lucas. You want to enter in "False" in the first column, then you want to enter false in the following other fields: ISCREATED, ISGENERATED, ISHISTORIC.
Then, you want to enter a PLYERPKG, JOLUCAS. Quit out of it again, then go to appearance.dbf. Look for his appearance ID, then enter -1 for face ID.
