good lord we need to figure out the corresponding song numbers to the game cuz I really wanna get the reggaeton music out of the game.
I'll see what I can do...
xsong1- Jurassic 5 In Da House
Tue Oct 04, 2005 9:35 pm
Might as well make this the sticky for it
Here's the list of the corresponding song numbers that are in the game:
xsong1 - Jurassic 5 - In Da House
xsong2 - Chali 2na (ft. Anthony Hamilton) - Don’t Stop
xsong3 - Bishop Lamont (ft. Chevy Jones) - We Got Next
xsong4 - Spider Loc - Elementary
xsong5 - Chamillionaire - Grind Time
xsong6 - Black Eyed Peas - My Style
xsong7 - Afu-Ra - God of Rap
xsong8 - Stat Quo - Like Dat
xsong9 - M.I.A. - Bucky Done
xsong10 - Q-Tip (ft. Busta Rhymes) - For The Nasty
xsong11 - Jae Millz - Streetz Melting
xsong12 - N.O.R.E. (ft. GemStar and Big Mato) - Deportes EA
xsong13 - Fort Minor - Remember The Name
xsong14 - Lupe Fiasco - Tilted
xsong15 - Tego Calderón - Mil Cosas
xsong16 - The Perceptionists - Let's Move
Here's how to replace them with your own music:
First of, get the Ditty Importer from NHL 2002 here: ftp://ftp.ea.com/pub/easports/misc/nhl2002/wimpditt.exe
Next, just open the Ditty Importer and choose the .mp3/.mp2 file that you wish to import, and then convert it into the .asf format.
Then rename the new file to match the name of the song that you wish to replace (song names and numbers are listed above; so it should be named xsong1, xsong2 and so forth).
Then go into the music folder (\NBA Live 06\audio\music\) and be sure to back up the ones that you are about to replace; then replace it with the new one.
*Note: Songs named 'xsong' are used in the menus, and the ones named 'xmsong' are the ones that are used in 1on1 and practices. And 'xintro1' is the music that is played during player introductions.

what is the starting song of live 06
Wed Oct 05, 2005 6:57 am
I think it's this one: xsong13 - Fort Minor - Remember The Name
But all you got to do is start the game and it'll stand right there on the bottom.

is there a thing you can use to change .asf to .mp3? like the music for player intros and loading screens?
Fri Oct 07, 2005 11:57 am
I don't think so. I tried to do it, but Andreas told me that EA's .asf files are coded differently then normal .asf files, so you can't convert them.

damn, player intros for most lives were so good.

how do you change song names in game?
Wed Oct 12, 2005 3:13 am
Jopps5, This tutorial might tell you how to do it:
http://www.remixteam.vzz.net/hex/hex.html
I'm not sure if it works for 06 files, but it should... Just be sure to back up your stuff before trying it.

yeah if you wanna change your starting song, go to the jukebox and find the spot where your current "first song" is... then move the song you want to that spot by moving the other songs above it until it is at the same place where your current "first song" is
Sun Nov 06, 2005 11:54 pm

I just tried changing the music for the player introductions. I replaced the original "xintro1" with the one I created, but it changed the music played during player-warmups and i still got the same boring music during introductions. Is there another *asf file to change?
Sun Nov 20, 2005 7:27 am
Same here....
