Welcome to my dynasty wankster, I'm glad u're enjoying it.

hey..i just got nba live and i love the clippers...i made a dynasty with them...I was wondering were Daniel Ewing was...hes not in the game..do you have to make him?

LilClippa, you have to make him. If you play on the PC then download a roster patch from the annoucement forum and it'll be in there complete with cyberface of portrait.

Article was bloody amazing dude, what Graphics card are you using?
I cant wait for the next installment

Thanks for ur kind comments Mark, I'm running a ATI 9800 Pro. It's a hand me down from my brother, lucky for me he upgraded to something better. Next installment of this storyline will come after a couple of Clipper games, be on the look out, but it's going to be a small one and it'll slowly build ;)

lol, very funny post man. Gave me a good chuckle with the daddy part, lol. The part about attending USC and my parents, are true. I played some HS ball, but our team wasn't very good. I'm 6-2, so for HS ball I played 1-3, but for street ball I played 1-5 and handled the rock most of the time.

Thanks X, I had to be creative, because I already made myself GM, so I borrowed a little from reality and remixed it bit :)

What's the NEW GUY?

Gotta respect the contributions Coco has given and he really does have a magical touch. He hasn't really even started his dynasty yet, but all eyes are on him. I've always wanted to put myself in the game, but didn't know how to approach it because I wanted it to be a little different. I'm going to fully develop the HS career through some flashbacks, and then MAYBE....a college career... So it's a little different in terms of coverage, and the storytelling will be done through magazine stories and newspaper articles. Just like how you would follow a real atheletes career. I pretty happy with the angle I choose, it's a little different.

Thanks Jugs, you gotta post more recaps! I love ur dynasty, but you've been leaving me high and dry! :)

Thanks Thierry, the best is yet to come my friend! :)

------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, so I'm going to cover a few more games, then progress the secondary storyline. We're probably going to take a look back at David's HS Career a bit. Just take a look at a few key moments from his past.

Thank you again to everyone who's followed my thread, I appreciate the support and love.

Also be on the look at for some exclusive kicks in here, I've made a few on my own :)

Maybe I forgot to quote how much I loved The X's and Seraph's Dynasties, I love everyones dynasty. And dont dont tell me no one likes me, you completely read my post wrong and you chose to exploit it, I think you knew what I meant when I worte that post, you were just like uncertain, and if you didnt know how respectful I am to every single person on this forum, now you know. All I made was maybe one little typo. So im a sucka for respecting everyone here on these forums, huh?

On Topic: Cant wait to see that storyline and those new kicks :!:

anyway, good luck with the kick Devin. I've always wanted to make some of mine but I don't think I can design good shoes  But I've been thinking about that idea for a while now.

ah oh, it's gettin hot in here!

I think we should issue nbalive744 a pass on this one, I've seen him in X and Seraphs post, showing them all love.

I really like this forum because everyone is so positive and cool, not like the annoucements forum, I think if they were as cool as people in here then I'd get into patching more. I just figured out how to patch shoes, and I think I can handle cyberfaces soon too, but people there aren't really supportive not like here.

But I did read a post the other day that I thought was pretty insulting to everyone's dynasty, I was kinda disappointed when I read it but, oh well, everyone's entitled to their opinions. Other then that, I think everyone here is hella cool.

Let's stay positive and keep this forum air tight!

and WANKSTA, I won't ask you how you got that name! lol, just kidding man! lol, I had to. Was it because we both have numbers in our names that got you mixed up?

Null, yeah man I gave up a few times but I've a handle on it right now I think. I was trying too hard, most of what I worried about wasn't even viewable.

Intial D, thank you for the props man. I like reading your posts, not just in here but all around, you add a lot of insight.

Live744, thanks for the love man. Why don't you work on ur dyansty more? too busy with patches?

I think what nbalive744 meant was that the new dynasties coming out now are really taking it to a whole new level, and I can't argue with that....I just wish I had the time available to bring mine up to game, but get pleasure in reading and seeing what everyone is doing....and I get additional pleasure in seeing some of the features that were unique in my dynasty (the scouting side & other things, which I probably spun off from some another angle) seeping through to other dynasties, but dynasty's like devin's seem to have a similar spirit, but are doing it in an original and fresh way....

no hurt, only luv (Y) sorry for spamming your thread up a little, but I also agree that the dynasty forum seems to be the place that drew me to NLSC and is also the thing that keeps me here....

keep up the good work Devin....if you need my "son's" cyberface for any subplots then I'd be honoured

I'm happy to know u're enjoying what I've done, and like you said we kind of work off each other. you're a really cool and thoughful person X, it's always a pleasure reading ur posts and dynasty.

CLIPPERS PREGAME SHOW:
Hello folks, this is Raplh Lawler, voice of YOUR LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS! Clippers are riding high after that amazing double overtime win against the defending champions, so Clippers have high hopes for this game. Mavericks have lost Finely, who the Clippers faced last game, but don't worry too much about the Mavs, they have Jerry Stackhouse, Jason Terry and Dirk, plus they have a defensive players in Harris and Howard. Some recent news concerning GM Devin Hall and his son has been revealed in a magazine called RIVALS, the Clippers organization will release an official response in tomorrow's paper. Now, let's get to the game!

Image

First Quarter:
Clippers started off a little slow, once again their defense is suspect. They didn't know who to focus on, each the the Mavericks starters scored in the first quarter- a very balanced attack by the Mavericks. Both teams are stroking the 3 pretty well. Livingston finishes the quarter with zero points and 1 assist. Clippers down by 4.
Terry getting OWN'D
Dirk working EB
Harris dunk? who knew?
Stack Dunking

Second Quarter:
Clippers start the second quarter with Sam Cassell and this changing of the guard is paying dividends right away. Cassell come in and runs CAVALIER. He starts on the left side of the floor and then moves right, that sends Miles baseline looking for picks to get open on the other side, at this time, a pick is set up for Sam Cassell to help him get to the rim or pass to an open Miles....so of course Sam takesthe shot. Livingston and the starters get back into the game and start to work on the Mav's small lead. SHOOTER B gets Mobley open for a few 3s and the ever aggressive Maggette found some open seams and attcked the rim. Clippers defense locks down and holds the Mavs to only 17 points this quarter. Clippers up 57 - 48.
Howard Duck, I mean DUNK
Daniels with the and 1!
Kaman, from behind the backboard
McCarty with the sweet touch

Image
CLIPPERS HALFTIME SHOW:
Wow, what the heck happened to the Mavs in the 2nd quarter? I think the Mavericks bench really let them down in that second quarter. Mavericks only managed to score 17 points. Howard, Dirk, and Terry did what they could, but without much help, this game looks good for the Clippers. James Singleton continues to impress us with his athletic ablity, threw down 2 nasty dunks in that second quarter attack. Having someone like Sam Cassell coming in as a reserve is a tremendous asset.

Third Quarter:
Jason Terry is a little too trigger happy with the 3 point attempts this quarter, probably didn't help very much that second quarter, but it's working here. Clippers and Mavs are trading blows, fastbreak for fastbreak, jumpshot for jumpshot, and 3s for 3s. Eddie Griffin is a monster on the boards and managed to get to the freethrow line going 6-6. Clippers and Mavs both scored 28 points this quarter, Mavericks will need a big push in the fourth if they hope to pull this out.
Livy can block shots?
Livy with the floater
Maggs taking off
Terry over 2 Clippers

Fourth Quarter:
With the game slipping away, Dirk decides to step up and take his game behind the arch. He goes 3 out of 3 from behind the arch, with a few amazing freestyle post up moves setting up Josh Howard for a few free buckets. Livingston settles down the Clippers offense, decides to run a few freestyle pick and rolls and pick and pops with Elton. Some of which he sets Elton up for easy dunks or layups, and some of which Livy takes straight to the hole. Very good judgement calls from him this quarter. The game isn't really in doubt at this point, though Jason Terry tries his best to make a game out of it, throwing up 3s like it's going out of style. Clippers win by 11 points.
Mobley for 3
Cassell is clutch
LIvy for 3
Terry for 3

CLIPPERS POSTGAME SHOW:
That's how you do it, you get them down and keep applying the pressure. Clippers shut down the Mavericks one quarter and then pretty much just matched them through the remaining 2 quaters, it was enough for a sweet victory at home. Livy's making better decisions out there, we were impressed tonight: he knew when to pass, when to run plays, when to wing it and when he needed to shot. The Clippers perimeter game was on fire, so they didn't have to work Elton too much this game. Eddie Griffin came in and grabbed 9 rebounds, helping out Kaman and Brand. We're looking forward tothe next game, Clippers are getting better and better!

a nice game by Cassell off the bench really helped you in this one....slow start by Mavs for the season....

the son comment wasn't meant to be too sarcastic, just wondering if there was any chance of NLSC cyberface entries in your dynasty....whether it be my "son", my "cousin", my "alter-ego", doesn't matter....

I'm sending through a PM now....

The Clippers played well on the defensive ends with 13 steals compared to just 3 for the Mavs. Good D. (Y) Cassell and Griffin did a great job coming off the bench, Cassell is scoring and Griffin is rebounding. Hope you can figure out how to get the Vcast working. Good luck.
