Help - Created Player, SAY MY NAME

So i've created a play and want the computer to say my name, I have a common first and last name, like Reggie Iversion

Is there a way to get the game to do this? Thanks

Well ok then, but what if somone else in the game has the same name as you? or if you just want the computer to say last name, like Jordan, and not the 1st part

It has to be a full complete name that the game already says... so you have to make yourself Antawn Jamison or Boris Diaw then you have to .dbf edit the speechID i think.. i dont know how to do it completely

after u created ur player, save it as a roster, go to DBF editor and open players.dbf in your roster folder. Then u go to the column that says speech ID (if u want iverson's speech ID its 8 ) then scroll down to the last line, and ur player should be there. Put in w/e speech ID u want, and they'll say ur name.

I went in and put my speechid to 9915 or something like that for showstopper, however the game never actually says it, is there anything else i'm supposed to do?

ur suppose to save it!!!!Click on the check button and then refresh buttons. Then when u load the game load the roster, so marv albert can say his name!

LOL, i know i'm supposed to save it, but here is what actually happenned, since I can't use my own name, I used showstopper and the number that was assoicated with it, but the game made two instances of my name, and I ended up editing the one that wasn't on my dystany, so I had to update both and now they say "Showstopper" wish the would say "Marrrrcccccc Millllleeeerrrrr"

Why did they get rid of knicknames like madskills etc.
They were heaps better than saying your number!

You have to make the game think that your created player isn't created by editing the player.dbf and appearance.dbf.
