Roster Update

Postby sventhedog on Wed Oct 05, 2005 9:52 am

this might help console users manually updating rosters.

transcations(trades, free agent signing): see nba.com's player movement central.

corrected player positions/numbers:

positions: spurs robert horry pf/c
spurs brent barry sg/sf

spurs nick van exel pg/sg
cavs donyell marshall pf/c
sonics rick brunson pg/sg
bulls othella harington pf/c
lakers slava medvedenko pf/c
lakers luke walton sf/pf
hawks joe johnson sg/pg. reports say he'll start at pg this season but i prefer sg(his natural position) to be his primary position.

sixers andre igoudala sf/sg. he is a natural sf but sixers play him as starting shooting guard.
sixers kyle korver sf/sg. he is the starting sf.

player jersey numbers: spurs michael finley #4
spurs sean marks #40

i'll update this when i see more corrections.

if you have any questions about any roster update concerns (player positions, starters, etc) feel free to ask me. i don't work for the nba but i'm a very reliable source. :D

knicks maurice taylor pf/c.
knicks penny hardaway sg/sf. i don't think he plays pg anymore.
knicks trevor ariza sf/sg. i'm not sure if he plays sg but i'm sure he should be a primary sf.

rockets bob sura sg/pg.
rockets david wesley sg/pg.

pistons carlos delfino sg/sf.
pistons ronald dupree sf/sg.

mavs marquis daniels. sg/sf.

note: clippers walter mccarty, pacers austin crosshere, mavericks keith van horn are natural sf in the default roster and pf as secondary position but i rarely see players 6'10 above to play small forward anymore. maybe coaches see this slowing the team when a big man plays sf. or maybe they are not quick enough to defend quicker sf of most teams. what i suggest is at least make them primary pf.

I don't know about EA, but for all you PS2 users, a member has created a PS2 roster update here

o sori. i just thought this might help because i can't seem to access the text roster update on the latest news section. so i thought i might make a ps2 text roster update.

plus, in this country most of ps2 users don't use game sharks etc. most people here either manually update transactions(without changing ratings or adding missing players) or not update anything at all.

these past few days i get a "topic no longer here or doesn't exist" message.

i apologize for making this thread.
