I like the addition of Horry, Horry can gives the Bobcats more depth, offensively and defensively. Yes, he can hits clutch shots when the games is on the line. He should help the Bobcats after all.

yep, was a tough injury....I really rely on Dumars quite a lot....he's my Larry Nance-type player and he's slowly getting better and better....

jxuusa wrote:damn man................. sucks.
nice caption with emeka and guy

yep, I thought you might be disappointed that the Nets sign Rose....if he stinks it up then I'll move you back into starting lineup....I don't want to mess too much with other team's rosters, but I'll see how he goes....you will still get pretty good minutes, at least 20 per game I'd say as the 6th man....

Sensation wrote:Nice signing. Hopefully Horry can carry the team far in the Play-offs.

that's the plan....he's not there to win games in the regular season, it's purely a signing that relates to the playoffs (provided I make it of course)....

haha....we'll see....that's the plan....

cwebbiverson wrote:nice signing x.........too bad about that guy...he started right?....whos starting at C now........or is okafor moving to C and horry starting at PF?

Nene is starting at C now with Okafor still at PF....guys like Tiago Splitter and Joey Graham have been picking up the slack in Dumars' absense....

Sit wrote:That Guy got injured... oh well. I'm sure ur team will still kick ass in November lol

hmm....team has actually struggled a little without Guy....it's only early though so once he returns, which is very soon, the team should get back on track....

as for the bone spurs, guess you weren't use to all that PT you were getting  Warriors are also doing a little better this season with you at the helm....maybe you can help them break the dreaded embedded code and do Weaver proud

yep....I could have easily added a younger player but that would have created a logjam....Horry is happy to play a minimal role during the regular season and should be ready to step up come the playoffs....I'm hoping he adds the intangibles that will hopefully get the team over the line....

ahh, another fan of That Guy :P he's back soon, so should be fine....

yep, I think it has exposed my middle a little....I might add one more big guy, maybe someone like Medvendko or something as insurance if this happens again....although I don't know if it is really something that a player like that can help with....actually, I think I'm doing alright, Nene is a starting quality bigman and Splitter is a great reserve....Graham can play a little time at the PF, Horry plays the 4 and rookie Lamond Maliq is handy inside....all in all I'm alright

Seraph wrote:excelent move on signing Horry (Y)

yep, it seemed like a realistic-ish move....didn't want to sign a better guy but keep him on bench all season....

you did :? and really, in the last draft the best big man available was Paul Davis out of Michigan State  let's see, either McCants/Joey Graham or Paul Davis....hmmm, I think I know who I'll take

if I had of known injury was serious I might have not put him back in :( then again I would probably do the exact same thing as I like realism and there are never enough injuries, so I'm glad he got injured....I think :?

as for the Horry signing, it's at league minimum, $1.1 million....

I dbf edited all free agent to league minimum so that they have a better chance of being signed....I hate seeing them go 1 to 2 seasons unsigned as it would never happen in real life....at least if they sign for minimum one year they can hopefully get a bigger payday next season....I also waited a bit to give other teams a chance to sign him and I definitely didn't sign the best person available considering there were guys like Jalen Rose and others available at league minimum....

cheers....looking forward to your '06 one too, although my '06 probably won't start until January :( as the game doesn't come out here on PC until early to mid November and I'm on holiday overseas from late November to late December, no Live until New Year I guess

THAT GUY IS STAYING DOWN FOR A WHILE

The slumping Bobcats got more bad news today as it was reported that star centre Guy Dumars will miss at least another week and a half of action. After consultation with the team's medical staff, it appears that Dumars' broken bone in his foot hasn't healed properly and has resulted in a bone spur in his foot. This means that Charlotte will once again have to survive a bit longer without him and the rest of his teammates will have to step up and stop the bleeding.

NLSC ROOKIE ANURAK PROVES HE BELONGS WITH THE BIG BOYS

There was concerns about whether high school draftee Sam "CB4" Anurak actually belonged in the NBA. Many thought he should have taken the college route and worked on his game. Well, doubters can take a step back after the show he put on in Charlotte with a 25 point outburst against the Bobcats.

Anurak used an array of mid-range jumpers, long-range jumpers and some explosive drives and finishes to amass his scoring output. He game seems to be a perfect fit for the high octane Sonics, and he's already performing in his sixth man role. If he keeps putting up performances like these, the whispers of why the Sonics sent Jing "jxuusa" Xu packing will be a thing of the past and finally come to rest.

RANDOM PIC OF THE DAY

Image
It's tough going for the Bobcats as can they not only not win a ballgame, but they can't even win a dance-off as Marko Jaric's Saturday Night Fever move pales in comparison to the Anurak-Honor-ism's Tibetan rain dance
