koberulz, stamina issues for sigs/finishers? I've had no issue with the irish whips like you mentioned, I just do what they do in real life, start at the opposite end instead of wherever in the ring.

What, you can't use a finisher/signature if you're low on stamina? This is why I hate the trend away from manuals. I spent a few minutes in MyPARK today, and left with less of an idea of how it works than I had before I got the game.

Even working with the entire width of the ring, there's not much time to react. And it's not just irish whips, it's everything. Almost every time I do a ground grapple, I get the dragging animation first. Way too many pins end in rope breaks. I have the Shining Wizard for my face-down upper ground grapple, and not once has it ever looked at all decent. Usually I'll drag the guy around in a circle for a bit, run off a rope about an inch behind me, come off at the wrong angle, then randomly make a 90-degree turn and hit the move.

Not to mention legs always hitting the ropes on suplexes and such, which isn't really a gameplay problem but still looks awful.

I thought the actual collisions with ropes has been a loooong time coming, loving that the game is resembling something to do with the real world by automatically moving to the center of the ring for some grapples and other positioning. Much better automated than trying to drag the guy around.

Mr Clynyk is slow as hell and I have yet to screw up an irish whip to either a grapple or strike. If anything I think the timing window is too open...

Also the top rope moves are locked behind a skill it looks like, 8750 VC to unlock Top Rope Diver. It's in Character > Upgrade > Skill, near the bottom of the list (alphabetical)

Checked out the creation modes last night. It feels like there's less options for parts, and Create-a-Finisher doesn't appear to have made the jump to the PS4/X1 version yet (unless I've completely overlooked it), but otherwise it's more or less the same. It's serviceable enough, for what I use it for.

Creation modes for this year’s WWE 2K15 title are lacking in a number of different ways. There is no “Create a Diva,” “Create a Title,” “Create a Finisher,” or “Create an Arena.” 2K15 also left out custom themes and severely cut down on the custom entrances for each wrestler. When it comes to the actual match modes that were completely left out of WWE 2K15, there is something from almost any offering the game has. “In 1 vs 1, Ladder,” “I Quit,” “2 out of 3 Falls,” and “Backstage Brawl” are gone.

Other modes such as “Special Referee,” “3 Stages of Hell” and “Casket” are only available in the Showcase Mode for 2K15 when they were available more readily in WWE 2K14. Other modes including “2 vs 2,” “Triple Threat,” “Fatal 4 Way/4-Man,” and “6-Man” are all quite scaled down from what the game had in the previous year or years, in some cases. One mode, “Handicap Matches,” is gone entirely and none of the modes taken out of the game have had much explanation from the studio as to why they were taken out

I did notice that when I created my entrance. A shame about the rest, I was wondering about Create a Diva, figured I'd overlooked that.

Disappointing, but it's still fairly solid across the board. I expect I'll have some fun with it.

It's a good thing that it happens, and that's one of the things I had in mind when saying gameplay is promising in a lot of areas. It's just that because of the size of the ring it happens too often.

I'm aware, but Springboard is 37,500 VC. For something that's previously been such an integral part of my moveset, it's frustrating having to work around it for long enough to accumulate that. I've got a Spider Suplex, which simply doesn't work at all, as my rear top-turnbuckle grapple, and Pierce's Elbow as a running corner strike, which leaves me stuck outside the ring having to manually get back in.
