No dude i just put mine on my desktop and it worked right away, after I make the changes I save then when I come out its working

won't load for me either. I have windows 8, and I extracted it to my desktop. Get a screen that says Runner at the top and a bunch of words in chinese. What am I doing wrong?

For adding CF to myplayer you can do it from the Edit Player option in My Career.
once you get there open Alex Zou's trainer and apply your CF, then go in game and save your player
and save MyCareer.

To add skill points for MyCareer I use cheat engine (google it)

For created players with added CFs I just change their ratings using the in game "Edit Player" option
but you could use hex editing if you know how (but some of you can't even apply a CF so don't try it)

Not sure how to change from created player to regular NBA Player yet. I'm still looking in the hex editor.

And to answer a question from earlier ... YES I translated the options in that pic of the 1.0 trainer

Making a personal CF is a process in itself. If you are making one from scratch Look through the NBA 2k13 tutorials (it is not a fast process). Once you have the CF you just rename it to "png####.iff" replacing #### with an actual number that doesn't overwrite the original 2k14 files. Then after you've done that that is when you can use the trainer to apply the CF. I would just download a fictional CF if you don't know how to make one. All fiction CFs from 2k13 work with this game.

There are many youtube videos regarding skill point hacks using "Cheat Engine"... it's been the same process since 2k10

It might be the reason dude not a lot of people like the windows 8 so i think it is safe to say that
the one who created it has windows 7

CheatEngine, have you really never heard of that program?

- Simply download CheatEngine (http://www.cheatengine.org/downloads.php)
- Launch NBA 2k14 and then launch your career
- Make a not of your SP, and ALT+TAB out of the game
- In CheatEngine, load NBA 2k14, then search for the amount of SP you have (4 byte value)

If you can't find it right away, just spend some SP and then do a NEXT (not new) search for the new number.

Yeah, that really has nothing to do with it. Programs that work on Windows 7 work perfectly fine on Windows 8 and 8.1 so I'm really curious where you get your "wisdom" when it comes to this.

So i only wanted to change the bodytype but it made the head go away and i got myself some white arms :S
I used the basic trainer v0.2. So my question is, how can i get the original CF back?
Note that i did never change the CF just the body type.

Make a back-up of your career file next time you're going to edit something using a trainer in a foreign language.

Your "might be" had nothing to do with it. You say "it's safe to say" that the person who made this program is on Windows 7, and therefor it doesn't work on Windows 8. Windows 7 or Windows 8, it doesn't matter! No need to call me a smart ass when I'm simply pointing out that your explanation is flawed.

Also, CheatEngine is working absolutely perfect here and I have the disk version of the game. I see no reason why disk or digital version should make any difference when it comes to CheatEngine. Could you link me to the webpage you found on Google that talks about this? I'm curious to see what the differences are when it comes to dealing with CheatEngine.

If someone uses a program in a foreign language to alter things in a game, the common thing to do is make a backup first since you have no idea what you're actually changing since it's in a language you don't understand. Now since he makes it pretty clear that he doesn't know what he changed exactly, it's going to be nearly impossible to get it back as-is. So, I made a friendly suggestion to make a backup next time.
