The Los Angeles Lakers Are The 2014-15 NBA ChampionsLakers 94, Bobcats 91
Charlotte erased a 14 point fourth quarter deficit but it just wasn't quite enough as the Lakers used a dominant third to defeat the Bobcats and win their 18th NBA championship. Kobe Bryant had a poor 11 point, 4-16 outing, but his teammates stepped up and held Charlotte to thirteen points in the third period.
Beal and Love had spirited efforts for the Bobcats, but they just couldn't quite get it done. "It's really disappointing to see it end like this, but we'll be back next year", commented a confident Kevin Love.
Kobe Bryant was named the 2014-15 Finals MVP, winning the award for the third time.
