I hear that there are rumors going around involving Dwight moving to Chicago, the deal looks like this:
http://basketball.realgm.com/tradecheck ... de/6014909
For helping move Dwight to Chicago, Golden State would gain a 1st round pick from Chicago, Taj Gibson, Omar Asik, and Ronnie Brewer.
Chicago gets Dwight Howard & Hedo Turkoglu from Orlando and Epke Udoh & Charles Jenkins from the Warriors.
Orlando gets Monta Ellis from the Warriors, Joakim Noah & Luol Deng from the Bulls.

Chicago gets gutted a bit, but Golden State suffers the most in the deal IMO. But this move improves the Warrior's depth. Orlando in the mean time becomes a great looking team all of a sudden for this trade. Just take a look at the potential lineup they'll have:
PG Monta Ellis / Jameer Nelson / Chris Duhon / Ishmael Smith
SG Jason Richardson / J.J. Reddick
SF Loul Deng / Quentin Richardson
PF Ryan Anderson / Earl Clark / Daniel Orton
C Joakim Noah / Glen Davis
You may have lost Dwight, but you bring in a capable Center with a high energy motor, AND you solve Orlando's problem with their guard play with Monta Ellis coming in relieving underperforming Jameer Nelson.

Chicago on the other hand would look like so:
PG Derrick Rose / C.J. Watson / John Lucas
SG Rip Hamilton / Charles Jenkins
SF Hedo Turkoglu / Kyle Korver
PF Carlos Boozer / Epke Udoh
C Dwight Howard /Joe Prizbylla (hopefully will sign with Chicago instead of Miami)
It doesn't look too good, but It could work. problem is, this lineup now has a huge hole in the Front Court. I'm guessing that the hope is Epke Udoh can provide Chicago some meaningful minutes of play. He is a high motor guy, which is what one would like to see from a bench player.

Golden State will presumably look like so:
PG Stephen Curry / Nate Robinson
SG Ronnie Brewer / Klay Thompson
SF Dorrel Wright / Brandon Rush
PF David Lee / Taj Gibson / Dominique McGuire
C Andres Biedrins / Omar Asik / Kwame Brown
This line up now looks bigger, and probably more competitive defensively vs Western Conference teams. The team however, will now rely heavily on Stephen Curry and Dorrel Wright to bring in the points for the Warriors, which I can conceivably see, if Stephen can stay healthy for them.

where's that article come from? the warriors looks got less there but getting the 1st round pick could be better. for Orlando, Ellis? :cheeky: I like their front court with Deng and Noah could produce more energy and fast phase of their game. I wonder if Chicago could agree with this deal? They will i think, they will get the best big man in the league

If you ask me, there's no way Chicago will accept this. They lose two of their starters plus three backups who play constant minutes.

This is just rumors right now, I saw it come up in a conversations that was related to Chicago, more than about 7 times already from different people sharing it. First Time I saw it was on a ESPN conversation thread about Joe Pryzbilla's choice being narrowed down to Chicago or Miami.

@Thierry
The problem is rumors say that the people who arranged the whole scenario seems to be Chicago.

Well, as long as it's just a rumor, we still won't know if it's true until it happens. Just giving everyone a heads up that this trade scenario would possibly be offered on March 1 when Joakim Noah is available for trade.

That's a terrible trade for the Bulls, I highly doubt they'd be the ones for pushing for it. Sounds like a rumour started when a fan or lone sportswriter threw out a crazy scenario for a blockbuster trade.

I also don't think the Bulls need to change,

it propably comes down to the Nets or Lakers.

That might be true, since the teams that really has a large need for a roster shake up of the 3 teams is Orlando, and Golden State. If anything, the scenario might have sprung from this insider column in ESPN: http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/story/_/ ... s-work-nba
It's a premium article so not a lot of people has access to it (including me so I dunno its contents), so it might be possible that the columnist in New York Post somehow got wind of the trade proposal from this article.

Looks like Howard only wants to sign long terms with the Nets or Magic, but who knows we hear ervery day new rumors / news about that.

Some already predict the Nets as a contender for 2013 when they team up D12 , D-Will , other nice peaces through Free Agency and an almost sure Lottery Pick.

He'll probably let the Orlando Magic suck more until the off-season. He won't get traded, so he'll gonna flash that smile for the rest of this season, make Orlando reach the playoffs and then make them bow out on the 1st round... so that there would be no lottery picks for Orlando. All just to spite Otis for his incompetence.

No one besides the Lakers really can give Orlando the right stuff in exchange for D12, but egos collided too much it seems... to such a degree that prevents the trade from happening.

If D12 really does join forces with D-Will in Brooklyn, there is a huge chance that the Nets really can contend. Both of them +Morrow+Marshawn Brooks coming off from the bench is enough to make you think they can make the Heat, Bulls, and Knicks sweat.

the Nets will surely a title contender if they land Dwight this summer, with D-Will resigns and holding lottery picks, no doubt.

I agree, the Lakers is the only team can satisfy what the Orlando wants, but,

Bynum for Howard X
Gasol for Howard X

From the intro, it sounds like pure speculation that's been spun into a trade rumour somewhere along the line. If those are the kind of trades being suggested in ESPN Insider articles, then I'd suggest their premium content isn't worth paying for.

I just heard that Kobe said Dwight will be the "Tyson Chandler" for the Lakers around Gasol and him, is he thinking that Orlando will accept the overrated Bynum fo Howard? :| what a pathetic Kobe

Yes, that was the pitch that Dwight Howard reportedly isn't going for.

Recent reporting about Howard's negative views on the Lakers were over the top, and Kobe Bryant denies warning Howard that if he were traded to the Lakers, it would never be Howard's team as long as No. 24 was still lacing them up. I asked Bryant directly about this, and he said, "I didn't say any of that ___. Why would I need to say that? That's childish stuff."

I think Shaq is more of a factor for Howard not wanting to play in LA, not that much Bryant.

Perhaps. Of course, whether or not Kobe actually said that, Howard's likely aware that it probably would be the case.

He won't be traded, whatever this means for the Magic... I think they gamble for high stakes.

Unless he's willing to take a huge paycut, it's not.

If he wants DeRon to be there, he should do, like Pierce did, signing for less money

That's not a good comparison. Paul Pierce went from around $20 million per year to $15 million per year and remains one of the top 20 highest paid players in the league after his paycut, which comes towards the end of his career. Deron Williams, in the prime of his career and earning potential, would be dropping from around $16 million per year to at most around $5 million.

All Players have bad contracts no free space in FA in the next 2 years.

edit:

Just read the Magic want to trade for Steve Nash, i dont think the Suns would be interested in that.
