Dear LiveJournal,

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

That sort of unfortunate thing makes me want to bust out The Grinch avatar in opposition of the Christmas spirit. :(

They must have reached to that conclusion upon seeing the plastic musical instruments you have.
To think all of these could have been prevented if you would have let them use it and joined your 'band'.

So the father wants his own maid and butler that is willing to pay him for the privilege of serving him.
Makes sense to me. Pay to serve the man!
That or the dementia is crawling in.

I'd still be inclined to move out. I have a feeling that even if things were smoothed over, there'll be a repeat of the situation at some point in the future.

I think you should have a contest. One game of basketball, winner makes rules.

Also, don't read their emails, that's pretty fucked.

Same thing that we both are thinking. Specifically, I see issues when it would be a baby vs brother in law situation, either with music, friends over, or something else while we are trying to keep things quiet, or feed in the kitchen, etc etc. We wouldn't win those conflicts.

They both gave her their passwords so she could check them, and they know she does. I don't, but I am really glad we know the information we know right now.

Hopefully this will be the last update until the move. Everything seems to have calmed down enough right now, with the youngest said he is no longer coming here while we are here and the other brother and father in laws saying that we should stay. Doesn't matter though, since throughout all of this we found out that the boys do plan on coming back every summer, every vacation, regardless of them paying rent for an apartment they arent staying in. That wasn't supposed to be the case, so we out. All that changes now is that we get to take the time to find a great place, rather than the first good place we can get to.

It's been a year and a half of this before anything came of it, hopefully we can have a peaceful couple months to get this baby girl born, then move.
Opinions are my own.

Here's hoping. Glad to hear things have settled down a little bit for the rest of the holidays, hopefully you'll be able to find a new place soon.

My portable HD decides not to work anymore. It's still works(some light turn on when you put it on the computer) but for some reason it is not being recognized by the computer or nothing shows up.

I had the same problem with mine a while back. Turned out it just wasn't plugged into the power properly.

My head is about as clear as it has been for a while. Got food poison infection as a result of something I ate on Xmas Day. Spent most of Boxing Day & 27th in bed with hot & cold flushes, fevers, chills etc. Two subsequent chiropractic visits (neck was in a bad way, causing real bad headaches), about half a dozen vomits over the last few days, I'm through the worst of it. A waste of a rare week of holidays.

Still got another week off. Glad I elected to take the extra time off. Sucks it can't work as sick leave since I've got a month of that accrued but only ever get sick on weekends or on holidays :(

Alright, I'm currently deciding between two watches at the moment:

1) Seiko SND225P1
2) Seiko SNDC05

Google will do a good job of showing you both watches so I'll let you find pictures there. I can both for about the same price. Some opinions please and thank you.

None. Real men tell time by the shadows made by the sun on daylight or the position of the stars at night.

You can still be considered a real man if you have a pocket watch, add a monocle to that and you'll be dashingly spiffy.

It's so freakin hot here at the moment. You could cut the air with a knife, it's that damn humid. I grow increasingly annoyed with people who want Summer to come in Winter, but spend the whole Summer in A/C.

It's been pretty hot and humid here the past couple of days too, though nothing like what you guys are experiencing up there I'd imagine.

It's been pretty intense, but apparently on Thursday it's going to drop to about 27 degrees (80 F) and get cooler from there.

Yuck... luckily I'm near one gigantic shopping centre I guess. Looks like I'll be a mallrat tomorrow. Might catch a movie or go bowling or something to I can spend a few hours there.
