Glad to see another update, shame about the loss though. Would you put it down to not playing the game for a while? I found I was a bit rusty when I picked up NBA Live 06 again after a bit of a break.

Yeah I was probably a bit rusty. Haven't played any games in a month or so. Kind of lost interest in playing when the NBA went on hiatus.

Only a few games left before playoffs though, so I should probably get back playing more regularly.

Fourth quarter was garbage time. All of my starters were rested.

I wondered why everyone's numbers were a little low and Williams top scored, extended garbage time would certainly explain that though. That was a terrible start for the Rockets, admittedly they're up against the two time defending champions but no wonder they were 20-53 coming into the game.

I don't really know if 'resting' players late in games makes any difference on this game or not, but I figured I'd give my bench some extra minutes.
Might come in handy knowing what they can do if I get in foul trouble during the playoffs.

I don't think there's any in-game advantage as such, especially given there are no in-game injuries in NBA Live 10, but it certainly works for realism/the story and probably does give you an edge knowing that you can rely on your bench players and use them effectively when needed.
