Good job beating the buzzer. Glad Richardson is injured, he's just way too hot in my last game against them :(

Re: Trade Deadline

Postby dare on Thu Mar 03, 2011 12:21 pm

TRADE DEADLINE ACQUISITIONS
Carmelo Trade Formally Complete
Image
Carmelo Anthony is officially going to New Jersey.

The Nets traded Devin Harris, Derrick Favors, Troy Murphy and 2 first round picks to the Denver Nuggets for Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups. It is said that winning is a huge part for Anthony and the Nets are currently in the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.

The New York Knicks can't counter a deal because of the injury of Danillo Gallinari and Anthony Randolph.

Knicks acquired Williams
Image
Maybe the Knicks has this as a backup plan. Out of nowhere they acquired All-Star Deron Williams from the Utah Jazz.

They gave Raymond Felton, Eddy Curry, Kelena Azubuike and 2 first round picks.

Gerald Wallace Traded To Blazers
Image
Charlotte's Gerald Wallace has been traded to Portland, according to sources.

The Blazers had strongly been coveting an upgrade at the deadline.

Portland will send Joel Przybilla, Dante Cunningham and two first round picks to the Bobcats in exchange for Wallace.

Clippers, Cavs Execute Davis, Pick For Williams, Moon Trade
Image
The Clippers and Cavaliers have officially executed their Baron Davis for Mo Williams and Jamario Moon trade.

Cleveland will also receive the Clippers' 2011 first round pick without any slot protection.

Aaron Brooks Traded To Phoenix For Dragic
Image
The Rockets have traded Aaron Brooks to the Suns for Goran Dragic and a first round pick.

Brooks will be a restricted free agent this summer and lost his starting job to Kyle Lowry.

Hawks, Wizards Finalize Hinrich Trade
Image
The Atlanta Hawks tonight acquired guard Kirk Hinrich and center/forward Hilton Armstrong from the Washington Wizards in exchange for Mike Bibby, Maurice Evans, Jordan Crawford and Atlanta's 2011 first round draft pick.

“We felt we had a good opportunity to improve our ballclub by adding Kirk and Hilton,” Sund said.

“Kirk is a well-rounded player that gives us options at both guard positions. In addition to being a solid and hard-nosed defender, he is a good shooter who can also distribute the ball. His resume includes significant playoff experience as well. Hilton can play both center and power forward, and will add frontcourt depth.”

Nice ASG recap, resembling RL. Also good to see the deals done. Did you actually want to do the "real" deals and could not because of injuries, or did you want to put Deron on NYK and Melo on NJN?

Thierry •, Thanks man
KidJustin, Yeah I know, but maybe him having some arguments on Vinny is a factor of him being traded
hova-, I actually want to be like RL but having all the injuries is a problem. Perkins and Green are both injured and thus I can't make the Celtics/Thunder trade

Cole and Jack 6'7 and 120? Very skinny. I'm 5'7 and weigh 125, and I'm slightly underweight. :D yeah, I know it's a mistake.

Enjoying the presentation. (Y)
