THE FACTS: Kobe Bryant had an all around game to lead the Lakers, he finished with 25 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals and 1 block. Pau Gasol chipped in 12 points, 8 boards and 3 blocks while Andrew Bynum added 12 points, 4 boards and 2 blocks. Lamar Odom had 10 points, 5 boards and 3 steals off the bench. The Lakers hold the Clippers to just 40% shooting. Chris Kaman led the Clippers with 19 points and 6 boards. While Randy Foye added 17 points. Baron Davis finished with 8 points and 10 assists but shot poorly in the entire game. Rookie Blake Griffin only had 10 points but managed to get 9 rebounds and 5 steals.
TURNING POINT: The Lakers played great defense and held the Clippers to just 12 points in the third quarter. They have a slim 8 point lead entering the fourth quarter.
HOT: Steve Blake and Ron Artest both finish in double figures, 14 for Blake and 11 for Artest. The two players did not missed a shot the entire game. Blake was 5-5 from the field, 4-4 beyond the arc while Artest was 4-4 from the field and 1-1 beyond the arc.
NOT: Shannon Brown had 2 points and 5 turnovers in 20 minutes of playing time. He shot 1-8 from the field.
ROOKIE WATCH: Eric Bledsoe had 10 points and 6 assists while Al-farouq Aminu had 7 points and 1 steal.

Another Injury for the Lakers
Lakers guard Steve Blake suffered a Bruised Heel but he will not miss any games. Trainers said that in 1 or 2 weeks the injury would be fully heal.
Lakers traded Smith and Ebanks to the Warriors![]()
Due to the Lakers recent guards injury they were forced to make some trades. The Lakers send veteran Joe Smith and rookie forward Devin Ebanks to the Golden State Warriors for rookie Jeremy Lin, forward Reggie Williams and some cash considerations.

Joe Smith, 23 games, 1.0 ppg, 0.9 rpg, 1.6 mpg
Devin Ebanks, 13 games, 2.0 ppg, 0.8 rpg, 2.5 mpg
