I can't get it to work either, I put all the files in my NBA folder, but nothing happens, I mean there is no effect... The last one that works for me is Photomod 8...

same. for v9 and xxx the d3d9.dll file size decreased to 254 kb or something, from 284. maybe that's the problem.

hey johndoe, how come i can't switch using shift F12 in photomod 9 and xxx? im using 8 right now cuz i can freely switch between normal and photomod with that.. although i might use xxx anyway even though i cant switch.. but is there a solution to my problem?

Great job johndoe, for me v8 is definitely the one to go with. I think it gives the greatest realism and best colors.

Still cannot get 8, 9, or your 3 versions of 10 to work at all. No green text, Shift+F12 does nothing, no visual difference or FPS change.

They are both really great so I can't decide which one is better, they both really boost realistic graphics, so I am having a hard time deciding which one to use :) :oops:

I'm using V8/Photo 5(with a few of my edits of course)

At first, I had downloaded someone's version without the emboss, I guess thats what made me confuse the two. But I think this is great man, I feel like probably the last couple updates were unneeded, but It's cool.... I hope your not done for the year because I still wonder how these minor adjustments will look with 2k's Shader version (which already looks awesome on consoles) that I'm really hoping to be in the 2k11 Patch!

Also, I know it's gotta be a way for you to edit the basketball's shininess, can please give it a try. Thanks Anyway! (Y)

your input line key on config :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:
+ in some case/after restart system/ALT+TAB that will change the effect like DOF to Actived
+ Please use the default line. take a look on my config

+ 2K11 is different lighting system and effect than the GTA SA there's no sun @all on stadium
- so reflection and shadows just making the game LAG but the effect (N) just more dark but FPS will drop
+ bout' the bloom u have to create the enbbloom.fx your self, that will give light source even more

if DOF/EnableDepthOfField=1

in my opinion, they are both the truth. I like them all, but these 2 dullen the colors a bit, which is realistic. Photo Mod 8 dulls it probably a bit much, but i think XXX is the sweet spot. Of course everyone is different in what they like. But I really wanted to make one that everyone would like, but didnt really reach that goal.

I agree it's a good thing there's a release version for everyone, it all goes down to personal taste. In my case what I didn't like about photo 9 and 10 was the level of bloom, maybe it has to do with my monitor settings etc. Anyway photo 8 is my favourite and I will be sticking with it.

Nothin but props to J Doe..He brought the game to life imo...Photomod 3+Shadowmod 8 on my monitor(I use my TV) is heavenly...Only problem is it does lag a little more than it did without using it but its tolerable..When I try to record a video with Fraps though, its very slow & unplayable...Other than that, graves..

thanx john, photomod is my personal best, the game pops out perfectly. like a game should, i understand what youre tryin to acheive with mod xxx because in real life the colors are softer but for video games 8 works the best on screen

@RapboY
u can try disable the DOF or other effect and only use the colors and emboss effect
EnableDepthOfField=1 = 0/OFF
