The thing I did notice is that in v5 compared to v3 some courts look too bright in v5 (For example court of mavericks and hawks), so its either contrast or brightness issue, but its not a major issue. I believe that minus 2-3% of brightness or contrast in v5 and its will be perfect :D.

thanks for your pics. Im glad you like v5 and i think more people will like it as they play it more. The difference is the that there a tad more contrast and the color pallette is a bit more reddish in v5, as evident in the pics. v5 is one of those configs that will brings me back everytime i try a new config.

bcparker wrote:I am currently using Photomod 5 in conjunction with karlopb's Global v4. However I kept the config fie for Photomod 5 as well as the color pallette and swapped out the effect files with the emboss effect and the result is absolutely gorgeous. The color tone is absolutely perfect with photomod and makes it look uber realistic, but the emboss makes the ambient lighting a little bright so I am going to tweak that until I like how it looks. Thanks for your work, the color tones are perfect and I will use them as the foundation for whatever I end up having in my config file.

It comes with the emboss effect already tweaked.

Don't you guys know that you can just do all of this in your control panel and save the 2-6 fps you lose, while using the enbseries. I'm not hating, cuz I was doing this before with mines, but now I edit my global & control panel to look the same as it did with the enbseries.

However, just downloading one file is more convenient then sitting there taking about 10-15 minutes to edit.. Its just some food for thought!

ehmjay, if you have an ATI card you can try and set mip map detail level to high quality. See if that does anything.

Can anybody help me... I can't get NBA 2K11 to start after installing Photo Mod X. The game starts and instantly kicks back to desktop. I tried running it as an administrator; I tried setting the game to run in compatibility mode (Like Windows XP SP2); and nothing is working.
BTW I have UAC turned off and I am on the administrator account, so regardless of clicking "run this as an administrator" I am already inherently running any program as an administrator (brought that up because that has been the fix for others having the same issue).

Check your processes, NBA 2k11 might have more than one process running, If so, close them all and try launching your game as normal.

I checked there isn't the NBA 2k11 process running in the background and when I attempted to start the game... same thing happened. I can however get the game to start if I "troubleshoot compatibility" and try the recommended setting offered by Windows to fix the problem (which is to run in Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode). However, when I click to save the computability settings and to reopen the program the same issue occurs with the windows opening up and then almost instantaneously closing. Weird.

can you take a screen shot of photomod 2 and photomod 5 for comparison purposes. I would like to see how your monitor is responding to 5.

Re: "PHOTO MOD Part 5" RELEASED "Closer to realism"

I just mixed photomod 2 (the config file and pallette file included in photomod 2) with the oblivion effect and txt file from 360 V2 (idk if it is different from the standard oblivion effect that C3POT included but I used the one included in 360 V2 nonetheless) and it is PERFECT for me/my monitor. I said before that V5 and oblivion was gorgeous but a little bright, but the darker contrast of V2 along with the oblivion effect completely eradicated that for me and the end result is perfect. I took a buncha screenshots, and the screenshots don't really do it justice, but I will upload them anyway., thanks everyone involved
