It ain’t that bad

The second week of the Brooklyn Ballers was surely a disappointed one but for an expansion team it ain’t that bad at all. They faced three southeast division teams in four games.

The first one was against the Miami Heat; it was a low scoring game which the Heat dominated the first quarter early but through team work the Ballers managed to hold on to the game. It was down to the final seconds of the game, down by three points the Ballers can still send the game to overtime. The Ballers draw a play for Wesley Matthews to shoot a three but he was tightly defended by Dwayne Wade so Corey Brewer forced a three but it didn’t went in as the Heat won the game 76 - 73.

The second game was against the Charlotte Bobcats, Chris Andersen was injured early in the game but managed to play through. The Ballers were up going into the third quarter when Gerald Wallace went on a scoring run; he scored 10 points in the third. The lead was cut down to three points but thanks to Adam Morrison the Ballers hang on the lead and won the game 75-72, Ammo scored 7 of the final points of his team.

Third game of the week was against the Orlando Magic, with Andersen playing in limited minutes due to injury the Magic went on to Dwight Howard early in the game but Yi Jianlian can’t be stopped in the first quarter. Then Vince Carter went to work while Howard played great defense to shut down the Ballers. The Magic won 83-75; Carter had 26 points while Howard had 6 steals and 6 blocks.

The last game was again the Heat; this was an entirely different game than when the two first met. The Heat dictate the game early holding the Ballers to only nine points in the first quarter. Dwayne Wade led his team with 26 points to cruise for an easy win.

Clearly with these four games the Ballers need to have legitimate scorer, Yi and Ammo is steadily finding their rhythm but Matthews is struggling. Maybe the Ballers need to look into the free agent pool for some help.

Wow, low scoring games

The HEAT! The freakin' heat! They're just freakin' unstoppable, if it's not Wade, it's LeBron, and vice versa. I can't contain those two.
LeBron will play isolation, and will dunk over anyone who will defend him. Wade will made my player dance and make a smooth jumpshot, :?

Maybe I'll adjust the sliders, I'm playing 10 min per quarter

Well if you look at the boxscores I defended Bosh well.

Yeah I think I should up the offense sliders a bit.

Keep it up dare, liking the layout (Y) Ammo having some nice games!

Yeah, you should check the sliders and get more ppg. Almost beating the Heat once, but the second game was a nightmare. :P

Thanks man, I'm getting used to Ammo

Can I ask what you do when you record the highlights, fraps doesn't have sounds when I record it. But when I'm trying to upload my to 2k replays it could not complete it.

Well, first of all check if everything is connected back on the CPU (a rookie mistake, but can happen)... then in Fraps (I have 3.2.1.11425) there's a option under Movies that says "Record Win7 sound", then I have ticked "30 fps", "half-size" and "hide cursor in video" so it takes less space in the disk.

But is your fraps activated? If not, you can't use some features and will only record 30 seconds.

Hold the damn ball

Third week of the Brooklyn Ballers features a back to back game against Cleveland and a home game against Orlando.

So the first game was against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Cavs used their defense as they went on to win the ball game 97-82. Mo Williams led his team with 19 points while Adam Morrison had 16 points.

Next game was again with the Cavs but this in the road, the Ballers are looking to win this game but they collapsed in the fourth quarter. Antawn Jamison led the Cavs rally with 19 points; Anthony Parker also added 19 points and shot 5-8 beyond the arc. Yi Jianlian had a game high 30 points in a losing effort.

The last game of the week was against the Orlando Magic, the same with their last game the Ballers went cold in the final quarter. Rashard Lewis had 23 points while Vince Carter and Jameer Nelson each added 19. Wesley Matthews had 18 points for the Ballers who lost their five consecutive games.

During these three games the Ballers average 19.6 turnovers per game. The problem for this team is not their offense or defense. They just need to limit their turnovers and hold the damn ball.

I must admit I'm trying Ammo to be my first option but Yi is surprisingly good, he also sometimes hit wide open 3's

No fights in 2k man, as for the turnovers yup it's the passing lane that is why my PG's got lots of turnovers

F*ck! everytime I load my save file it just says file corrupted the bad thing is all three of my save file can't be loaded. The last thing I do is save the game before the start of the 4th quarter against the Clippers to try a new controller.

My 3rd backup is working but it is the start of the season, should I just sim it to the 4th week? The stats will be different though.
