I think this version looks a lot more realistic. You have to remember, there are tons of lights shining on these players, so there won't be very many shadows to begin with.

I am a little lost on this one. If I install his patch, and then later want someone else's jersey or face patch, will those files overwrite the shadow patch files, or will the shadow patch be shown on other jersey/face patches I install? Thanks.

The shadows on the players will stay because they are part of the global.iff. The jersey shadows will be overwritten because they are attached to the 30 individual jersey files. Hope that helps.
