I see, but interesting idea you brought up.
You seem to overvalue Rubio a bit too much based on his potential as an NBA player. As I see it, teams rarely build around PG's and if teams do, it's usually when that PG has a breakout season or have shown what he's capable of in the league.
Minnesota would be foolish to depend too much on Rubio for their team's future success at the expense of what they have now in Al Jefferson or Kevin Love.
It would be a waste of the team's time and resources to build a team around Rubio just to see if he is really good instead of Rubio proving himself that he's really good even without the 'right players'.
