I hate the fact how the ESPN crew keeps cramming Rubio being picked next down our throats after the 1st pick, still continuing to do that while still looking stupid and desperate when he keeps sliding down, and then all of them finally having an orgasm when he was finally selected by the Wolves.

I really hope Mark Jackson gets the Timberwolves job. Not so much for them, but for what it will do for the ESPN crew.

Speaking of the Timberwolves, I'm not sure about the decision to pick two point guards. They're saying they'll keep them and that they can play together but that's a pretty small backcourt.

Meanwhile, the Knicks fans in attendance certainly aren't happy about the Warriors taking Stephen Curry just one pick ahead of New York.

lol at the reaction of NY fans when Curry was picked by GS. I think the reactive NY fans is one reason why the Draft should stay in NY and not be in LA (if their proposal pushes through).
LA fans seem to be disinterested, judging by the way seen in games.

With the Timberwolves trade, I'm definitely sensing a trade. As a Nets fan -- I love the anger at MSG right now.

And if nothing else, the league offices are in New York. Perhaps they could take it on the road again though, year-to-year like the All-Star Weekend.

But then you miss the iconic image of Spike Lee jumping around every year like a damn cricket. :D :D

And the next VC is Gerald Henderson. DUKE represent.

I don't get it.. Why did Knicks fans boo Hill ? Who should they have picked? Hill was definitely the best player left, in my opinion. Seems like they would have booed anyone but Curry.

That's exactly right. I liked Mark Jackson's comments about it.

"Jordan Hill, you're not the first and you won't be the last."

Does anyone know if he was booed himself when he got drafted by the Knicks?

Brandon Jennings under Skiles? Why do I have the feeling that Jennings will be doomed.

Yes, not exactly an ideal pairing there.

Being late for his own draft will probably put him in Skiles' doghouse.

Dicky V looks like an announcing messiah after hearing much of Mark Jackson's analysis.

No matter under Skiles or not, he will probably be a bust anyway. I've seen him play a lot of times and I dont see anything special about him.

Jae can confirm I said this:
benji: if the Sixers don't take Ty Lawson, Minnesota probably will, they need four point guards

At least it only took them three chances before they got the best point guard in the draft.

And now they're trading him. To Denver.

Oh Joe Dumars...

You say you want a player who can step in and play RIGHT AWAY. Great, that's a James Johnson or Eric Maynor... not Austin Daye. Daye is exactly a Dumars "guy", he has a good head on his shoulders and he is long. Too bad he is thinner then a stick and looks a lot like Tayshaun.

This is not what I expected and it makes no sense, I don't think he will be able to contribute this year or play defense for the near future.

Woooooonderful job Joe.
