Alby, are you planning on releasing a roster patch based on the changes made by the NBA 2K9 Patch? The game play is really different now with the patch and that players have different dunk packages that were not in the game originally.

i wish 2k9 sports will release a standalone patch for offline users such as myself.. i dont have any internet connection at home, its too expensive here in our country..

Still don't see Nenad Krystic on Thunder's roster, or in FA pool. I followed the instructions for d/l, then loaded the files prior to starting the game. What gives???

I can see Nenad Krystic in OKC. What happen to u?

BTW, I find something stranger. If I don't use Missing portrait files, some players' picture are not correct.

For example, Joel Anthony in Miami Heat looks white man if I didn't use text mod. Of couse Using textmod, he is right.

I might be doing something different, although I doubt it. He wasn't on Alby's last roster patch either. Can't understand why I'm the only won having trouble with this patch.

A good roster patch but I find many things inaccurate like the players height and weight... Krstic in the roster patch is 6'11 180lbs. in reality it should be 7'0 260lbs. hope you address these issues..

1. C:\Documents and Settings\your account name\Application Data\2K Sports\NBA 2K9\Saves

I use Win XP Pro, Open your folder like this but you find out your account name(red box in picture)
and put a download roster file(RR5.ROS)

If you cannot find that folder, please activate the option “view hide file and folder in menu Folder options-view-advanced settings




2. Start 2k9 and click [Main menu] - [Load/Save]



3. Click [Load]



4. If you can see RR5 Roster, plz load it.

And then I hope you can see Krstic on OKC

Thx for your time in showing me your screens, however, where would I find my account name after C:\documents and settings? Also when I load the game, the files just say settings, roster and user, not RR5.Ros like in your illustration. This sh-t is frustrating the hell outta me. I wish I knew how to take a picture of my folders and screens of the game like you did. I don't know how.

OK~ look at this photo. Forget about Win95. It is same as Win xp




1. Click [start] button and [Run]

2. write %appdata% and push Enter key. (dont miss %. You need to write exactly same like this)

3. I think if you do right, you can see your [Application Data] folder.

4. Find [2K Sports] folder and click it, and then put RR5 roster in there.

try it!

how do i install if i dont have C:\Documents and Settings\user\Applications Data\2K Sports\NBA 2K9\Saves and C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\nba 2k9. all my files are iff i dunno what to do pls help............. me.............

this is great. i wont download the 2k9 official patches and its updated roster for now, because of this wonderful masterpiece hehe .

the latest Albys patch works really great, except that with all settings as set by Albys 3pt accuracy for the user is ridiculously low..I shot like 1/15 from 3pt line with phx suns (richardson, nash, barbosa) and majority of them were clearly uncontested (pass out after shaq was double teamed)!!!

user defense is to weak instead of CPU, so I made some sliders adjustments (including turning user 3pt and medium range accuracy up a little bit) and I believe now the patch works fine.

But you need internet to actually install the game and activate it

Not yet. There is no "special" .exe for the new patch yet. it requires texmod cuz there are sum portraits

Albys~ After PC official pacth, I found something stranger.

Post play doesn't like before. I can't move to paint zone any more. Do I change [slider] - [attributes] - [strength] ?

I heard [strength] User 70 / CPU 40 is pretty good after official patch from XBOX360 users because they already got the official patch sooner than us.


How about your opinion?
