i've noticed the triple threat thing too
i cant utilise the player's first step like in the past
however, i think holding the right analog stick up while in triple threat then driving to the basket achieves something like the desired effect.

in my experience you can still perform something similar if you let go of the right analog stick just before you use the left stick to move. the bodying up animation usually kicks in and you have your defender at your left or right side. if you don't let go of the right analog stick before moving, you usually just bounce off the defender because of the freestyle move.

Yes, in previous Lives there were several explosive first step animations, and even moreso for certain FSS types last year to help blow by defenders off the dribble.

Look what I've found on the NBA Live official website:

Q. If locked as a player, the CPU does not auto inbound. Inbounds are only done if one presses the pass button. This is a significant gameplay issue if one is locked as a power forward or center.

A. This is working as designed. We added the ability to call inbounds plays this year and this change means that if you are player locked you must receive the inbounds pass. This also is not going to be included in the update.

Cheers!!

brilliant. that's a great new feature that should have been introduced years ago.

actually, it's not cromulent. at all.

Well, do you think they would include face patches and stuff lol?

I dunno... I think that EA released roster updates will be useful so that people can focus on doing faces (Y)

They keep saying "This is working as designed" just to get out of work/Proof that they keep taking out the little but important things that make the game great. I mean why would they want to include this?

EA's priorities:
Barely a couple of hours after the release of Battlefield 2142, there's already a patch from EA to fix some bugs.
Wish they could be that responsive with all their products, no matter what sales differences are... :? (N)

I think andrew's rosters are fine since he will add jordan and other players there. most importantly, he edits the player's abilities according to the majority of opinions in this forum.
