Team Offensive Sets , how to set them permanently?

Fri Nov 28, 2003 11:16 am

I founnd out very quickly that using the teams offensive sets, side triangle, flex, box, etc for what ever teams. that you get very realistic playing, see the game slidersthread for team offensive sets.

i now want to keep each teams offensive sets for each game.every one plays there roles how they real life counterparts do more better.
how do i keep them permanent?
there is no option from in game. what can i edit in the files?
maybe if 2003 it was possible, it can be for 2004.
please help, i think everyone should check the team strategy, offensive sets out change them to the teams real life play calling ,and watch how better they play.

is there a 'teamplays' or 'plays' dbf? if there is and there's enough detail on it, you might be able to refer which play to assign to a team.

yeah, i been working on it for the last few hours, actually workin on a small tutorial for it the last few hours, i figured it out like in 20 minutes or so after making this post

there is the plays.dbf file, and the teams.dbf file, you use them both in combination to set it, ima make a post now for it, with a video tutorial....

I began work on this a month ago but haven't had time recently, refer to my post for more details. Anyhow, this is all very doable. There is also a plays file I believe which list the various play numbers which you can then assign to each team. If you have some time to complete this, let me know if I can assist in any capacity.
