Get tired of playing with the 80's or 90's AllStar teams with those crappy generic uniforms? Want to see the Hall-Of-Famers wear their retro uniforms, and wear complete gears and socks as they used to? Want to see all legends get their gears, with bands, pads, shoes, even retro-socks? 20 legends with completely new faces, and correct looks? Just like we did in NBA Live Street 2003, but MORE.






This patch will automatically add retro uniforms to the legendary NBA players that are in the 50-90 All-Star teams, the uniforms they wore on the teams they used to kick ass with. Also, the patch will add gears and retro shoes to all legend players, and about 20 of them get new, fixed cyberfaces:
- Michael 'Air' Jordan
- Clyde 'The Glyde' Drexler
- Wilt 'The Stillt' Chamberlain
- David 'Admiral' Robinson
- Hakeem 'The Dream' Olajuwon
- Big James Worthy
- Dr. Julius Erving
- Larry 'Basketball Jesus' Bird
- Earvin 'Magic' Johnson
- Bill Walton
- Robert 'Chief' Parish
- Anfernee 'Penny' Hardaway
- Gary 'The Glove' Payton
- Mitch 'Hammer' Richmond
- Moses Malone
- Pistol Pete Maravich
- Oscar 'Big O' Robertson
- Scottie Pippen
- Shawn 'Reignman' Kemp


And EVERY OTHER player (the remaining ~40) on the decade allstar teams gets their retro-uniform, retro-socks, and shoes. In the future I plan to make addons for this, to fix some uniforms (some players now wear their own team uniforms, but with a design that's not from it's decade), add missing legends (Jerry West, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Drazen Petrovic, Dennis Rodman, Connie Hawkins, Artis Gilmore, Darryl Dawkins, Spud Webb, ...).

Read the instructions provided for the installation, it's not too hard, everything is done automatically. It is also important to know that this patch works only with customart enabled, and cannot be made to work without it. Oh... did I forget to mention this whole thing is only 1,5mb big?

it works fine for me.. it crashes on 1on1 thou.. is it possible to import all these players into the players.viv (without shoes and unis)? so customart 0 remains

For the ninty allstar.. is there a way to change their face in the 90 allstar without changing their face in the league now

raptors6thman, I've already stated, that with the .viv installation this patch CANNOT properly work. customart features aren't supported with the .vivs (only faces are - jerseys, socks, shoes - not)

But how does it work with customart turned on? Everytime i turn customart on (set it to 1), and go into the game and start an Exhibition Game, NBA Live crashes. So, how can we get it to work? And how did you take those screenshots?

on my computer, i've only experienced crashes on:
- starting 5 menu
- one on one mode
- while exiting the retired jerseys section

anyway, all can be avoided. i don't check the lineups, i don't play one on one, and i don't browse the retired jerseys section (which i find pointless anyway after first viewing). everything else works just fine.

Some of the faces are off but its an all in all good patch.

considering the magnitude of the patch, i didn't have time to mess with every single new face and tweak it fully to the new (and may I add, screwed up) texture mappings EA did (2-3 faces weren't 100% tweaked). there will be future updates of this thing ofcourse...
