A FILE THAT WON'T COPY DURING INSTALLATION

Hey guys, I tried installing 04 tonight but one of the files won't copy from the CD-Rom to the PC. It was this big 111 MB file that was in the audio folder, something like ditty.ast ... when I was installing it I got a message saying that it had a problem with that file and I could either retry or cancel. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

its possible that the cd is no good. mines was doing the same thing but winded up taking it back and got another one and hadnt had any problems since.

I tried it on another PC and it copied fine! Pretty weird eh, I think I'll have to just stick with 2000

hmm..you could try to use that other computer that it worked on and burn another copy of the game so that you can actually play it. And for ppl wondering, no it's not pirating if you make a backup copy for yourself, especially in this case if the game doesn't work

could it be your cd rom because i need a new cdrom myself

well, it is; since the game he has now, is an 'illegal' one...
