Our organization is called 2KCN nba2k.cn and nba2k.com.cn , 3DM cracks the iff files for us.

Another organization is called EGS baballs.com , NetShowbbs(You Xia) cracks the iff files for them.

We are just two different organizations so you know, it is a competition.

But I guarantee that we will give you our tools at the right time.

If this is true, it explains a lot about the "delay" in making the tool public.

Competition for what? Who makes more patches? Still can't see the point of that...
IMO the best organization is the one that discovers, found a way, creates the patches, but mostly the one who shares it first.

I believe that the motives is that your organizations wants us to visit your pages, and download everything only from it, but i think you forgot that WE SHARE in forums, we download, translate, modify, upload, download again... from many of sites... like rapidshare, filefront, etc... so i think if you want our support, just share it and let us know how to support you. Other than that i believe that youll be the top patchers for nba 2k9 a long time once you already have the knowhow. So don't be afraid to lose something 'cause you won't.

The best group will be the one that releases the software or tools that are more stable and usable for all or almost all the users.

I'm guessing you have no idea how a separate group of programmers can be very competitive in creating the same piece of software. It can be hell I tell you.

Ok man. I thought the iff thing could be solved with some kind of plugin for opening with photoshop or something, but now i understand what is the real competition. SO LET THE BEST WIN! Good Luck !

its good news, but not a good thing, THIS ISN'T A COMPETITION, no ones getting paid or even getting praise from 2k sports, I just don't believe in holding something so that your stuff can be better than the others.

How about personal satisfaction? Knowing you did a good work even without expecting praise or payment? Some people are not driven by money or hollow accolades you know.

I just don't believe in holding something so that your stuff can be better than the others.

What would you rather have, a tool released early that is buggy and crashes occasionally or a tool that is released a bit late but is more stable and usable than the tool that was released early?

I think it will be race who first release tool, because i think and another organisation want to release iff editor...

Just be patience and wait. Give it a break, stop critizing and wait. Since they managed to crack it and everything, they deserve maximum credits. Now that they are going to share it with us, shoudn't we be thankful to them instead of making comments about the situation? It's just like when guys from our community cracked a tool back in the days. I believe no one made criticism about the situation then. So just relax, stay cool. We all have the same objectives and we share the same route anyway, and at the end of the day, we are not really different from each other. Give each other full support and trust me, if we do that, things can never be bad.

I understand that but everytime I've had something that will benefit anyone I was happy to share unleashed it was going to be part of one of my projects

I just believe that people should all enjoy the great things of this small modding industry we have here, hopefully they release the .iff editior before I announce what I'm working on....

Patience is a virtue. No offense to anyone but complaining won't speed up the process. Relax.
