NBA Live 09 Xbox 360 & Playstation 3 Issues

Alright then. I'll do some more testing of my own but I haven't come across any crashes simulating yet.

another issue is the 5 second violation by the cpu team. its ok to commit this once in a while but a real nba team rarely commits this error.

How often do you come across that?

During an exhibition game. I don't know if this happens during dynasty mode. The funny thing about this is that the cpu is the one that commits the error. I usually play minnesota against the spurs. the spurs committed 3 five second violations in one game hehehe.

That is a bit more than you'd expect, but does that frequently happen, the CPU getting at least one five second violation (and usually more) when you play?

Is this thread actually checked by Crazylegs or something? There's quite a few problems which would seem quite easy to change. I only get, for instance, if I'm lucky, a highlight reel 20% of the time. I get freezes every once in a while (all on PS3) too.


And what 's up with taking a 365 roster into dynasty, having players on the injured list, and they never come off! They are not listed as injured but not playing either.

Shouldn't the information of the actual injury be taken into Dynasty? Or at least a duration. Otherwise CPU play makes no sense whatsoever. Neither do taking an up-to-date roster into dynasty (players who happen to be injured at the time will just never play, at least the first season.

I'll check into the injury situation, we really do need to be able to disable that/cancel "Injured" status for new Dynasty games.

Not really a normal issue, but an issue non the less. Players can lay-up from the free throw line (and sometimes dunk) and also between the dotted line and the free-throw line. Can really get annoying.

Do you mean they start their dunk from behind the free throw line or actually leap from the free throw line?

They LEAP from the free-throw line.

Haven't seen much of that myself, the biggest dunk related problem I've found is the CPU's tendency to grab an offensive rebound and go straight up for the dunk before you'd have time to gather yourself. It means an offensive board usually means a basket whereas that's not always the case.

Just a few problems with regard to a player named Jason Smith on the Australian National Team Squad.
1. His personal information e.g. date of birth is completely wrong. It says he was born in 1950 which is no way!
2. He is listed as 193cm in game but his in-game character model is actually as tall as Andrew Bogut who is a 7 footer.
I posted about this issue on the EA forum but apparently nobody gives a damn about it so maybe a guy like Andrew who is dedicated to the NBA Live series over the years can help me out to contact the EA developers to fix the problem.

I can't give out any contact info but I'll send it along and hopefully it will be corrected. I don't think they've touched the FIBA rosters at all with the 365 updates, except those players who are on NBA rosters.

Hi, maybe i have some helpful information regarding the freezing of the game and replay issues. And maybe it fixes more, i haven't checked.

It will reset all you;re owned game updates but you can download it again when you start a game.

You;re save games will NOT go lost.

Ok, here we go....

On the dashboard go to the system sections.
Select Memory and select you're hard drive.
Press x then x again. press L1 then R1 press x then x again.

You'll be asked if you want to continue maintenance. Press A.

The reason to do this is the fact that in one of the game updates from nba live 09 the xbox system didn't download some important files. And with the information above you can download the newest update. Overwriting any missing files.

Try this it worked for me.

Sorry Ps3 owners. But maybe the Ps3 menu also have system settings. search the internet and i think you will find how to do this.

I have been having a problem with Club play on NBA Live 09 for my X Box 360. I have tried everything. When my club members and I join up, we can make it into the dressing room and we can also get to the team select screen, but the very instant we try to advance past that screen to adjust our rosters it gives us the message "Game canceled or Game has timed out." EVERY TIME

At first I thought people were just quitting out and leaving game but after talking to other players I found that this is not happening. I have even got all my club members (including myself) to erase all of the NBA Live info from the hard drive and reload all of the NBA 365 info. This did not help at all. Nobody seems to know how to fix this problem and it is very frustrating considering that my 3 friends and I pretty much bought the game for the sole purpose of playing as a club. If anyone has any information that you think might help in any way please respond.

Ok, let's hope and see. Is EA aware of the issue? Maybe, someone can bring it to there attention. It is a ayoning issuse since we can't play the game like we want to.
