need help with custom portrait adding to game!!!

need help with custom portrait adding to game!!! i created a custom portrait follow the custom potrait tutorial and when im done, i cant seem to put it in the game? how can i edit this to the game? plz help!!!

You'll need to place it in the sgsm folder. Providing the filename and everything else is correct, you'll need to make sure it matches the PLAYERPKG value in players.dbf for the player you're assigning the portrait to.

i did that but it still wont work. so wat should i do? i already edit the players.dbf file too.. plz help

Make sure the player you want to add custom portrait for has the "ISCREATED" field assigned to False in players.dbf file.

Also make sure you're editing the dbf from a saved roster so that you can re-load the roster with the changes.

the game crashes when i change the ISCREATED TO FALSE. dont know why? plz help

Do you get an error message when the game crashes?

actually no error msg, it just crashes and return to windows. dont know why

Did you use DB Commander to make the changes to the DBF or Microsoft Excel?

i use DB commander.

The database shouldn't be corrupted then. Could you please post an outline of all the steps you've done so far? We might be able to pinpoint a problem that way.

i follow the tutorial exactly the way it is and still dont know, im gonna try 1 more time then ill let u guys know wat wrong.

If you can post the exact steps you did with the exact changes you made, it will make it easier for us to pinpoint where you might have made a mistake, missed a step etc. It may be that the tutorial could be expanded to include additional information.
